70s was the best decade of music for us.
Yeah bruh it was some outstanding artists in the 70's.
And that is the key. How many of these new artists will get steady run in 2 years let alone 25-35 years?Shitttt, I still rock that shit...

The 70s and 80s in my opinion was the best for all black music. But I’m going to give the 90s a little credit on hip-hop.

Raheem DeVaughn and a hot of others, but like it was stated above outside of xm/sirus you'll barely hear them on radio. In DC you had two stations that would play artist like them in heavy rotation Whur & 102.3 but both of those stations have flipped their formats and barely play anything worth a damn outside of maybe one show.

I miss true bands. 
They want you to be inundated with noise to overwhelm your tastes for financial reasons. If true talent has a market, then they can thrive, and survive without the system. It’s why they push streams they can push you into a 360. Sure you get a tour, but we want part of that. And you can go on tour without the system giving its approval. Where are you going to play?
Having to pick a favorite out of that list is torture...can't do it...great selection
