Are there any of today's music artists that can compare to these artists from back in the day?

You still have great musicians out there, especially from a black point of view but you have to go find them because they are not commercial anymore. You can thank the radio stations and the record companies for this bullshit.

Raheem DeVaughn and a hot of others, but like it was stated above outside of xm/sirus you'll barely hear them on radio. In DC you had two stations that would play artist like them in heavy rotation Whur & 102.3 but both of those stations have flipped their formats and barely play anything worth a damn outside of maybe one show.

They want you to be inundated with noise to overwhelm your tastes for financial reasons. If true talent has a market, then they can thrive, and survive without the system. It’s why they push streams they can push you into a 360. Sure you get a tour, but we want part of that. And you can go on tour without the system giving its approval. Where are you going to play?
