I have read through these treads and no one has really got to the point. Don’t listen to modern day B.S. taught in schools and information on the news and through the media. The original Hebrew is related very closely to people of African Decent. As a matter of fact most of the Ancient Hebrews lived in Egypt, or what is modern day Israel, and/or what is modern day Iraq. Those that know your Bible know that Moses was found by an Egyptian Princess and taken home as a child of her own. Therefore, Moses must have looked like an African/ Egyptian. Also, Egyptians where not light skinned with European features. Okay, lets fast forward the timeline to when King Herod ordered the slaughter of all first born Hebrew boys after he learned that a Messiah was born and will be the King of Israel. Mary and Joseph fled Judea (present day Israel) to.... guess where? Egypt. That means that Mary, Joseph, and Jesus would probably look like and appear to be Africans/Egyptians. Additionally, Jesus is said to have hair like wool. Skin the color of Bronze, and eyes as red as fire. Now frankly speaking I have not seen any European that resembles that description. However, I have seen quite a few Africans, and descendants of Africans that share a similar depiction. A Semite is a person whose language derived from a form of several ancient languages Amharic, Arabic, Aramaic (the language of Israel at the time of Christ), Akkadian, Geez, Hebrew (the language of Hebrews at the time of Moses), etc... Now to be anti-Semitic, would literally mean to oppose anything and/or anyone who speaks or is a descendant of one who spoke those languages. I assume that the literal meaning is not intended. So, in today’s terminology anti-Semitic implies opposing Jews and Jewish related culture. I will not debate if the Jews currently living in Israel are or are not related to the original Hebrews. I can say that those that claim to be Jews follow a strict life style and support structure within their community. As far as Blacks\African Americans, we should not have any particular problem with Jews, Hebrews, and/or Arabs because we are related to them in heritage, and Ancestry. African Americans are a lost tribe, stolen from our original land and culture. We have been disconnected from our history and our Ancestry. As we piece together our history. We will learn that we are more closely related to our fore fathers then we think.

Ha, I used to be in that camp... Like the old Chris Rock routine... "Black people hate white people, we don't have time to divy 'em up into little groups."
Of course, as he acknowledges in the bit, some older blacks are different and I've mentioned it to some who'll say Rock didn't know what the fuck he was talking about. (He did, the bit was just about perception.)
Anyway, I've known different for two or three years now... Growing up, though, what I saw made it very hard to seperate... Not just blacks either; a chick on Big Brother 8 got in trouble this summer for making anti-semetic comments and she didn't even really know what a Jewish person is.
