Apple asks judge for ban on Galaxy S III before US launch

Samsung should stop make parts for iPhone.

I think earlier this year apple did won a lawsuit against Samsung.

Yeah the first expensive expensive phone I got was $600 (n97) which happened to be the worst phone ever. The other two were $500 (n95 bought two - fave phone ever).

What I do not get is Apple is still dominating.

If anything, these other companies should be the source of innovation for Apple. They can mimick (sp) and copy all day long, but lead the charge and use that as motivation.

IMO, Apple is wasting time worrying to much about infringement on their patents.

I do blame the patent office for allowing one company to hold a patent on a process like "swipe to open" or "clicking on links" to make a call. :smh:

You'd be surprised. The first phone I paid $500 for was the i930 in 2005. Prior to that I spent damn near as much when the i95 had dropped. If folks want it they will pay for with no problem. My Galaxy S2 was retailed at $685 this time last year but it cost just over two and change as an upgrade. Meh they're relatively expensive toys :).

I started out paying full price for phones because I could get better, unlocked phones that weren't available here in the states. Now I do it because T-Mobile has cheaper plans for those who buy their own phones vs. those who buy subsidized phones on contract. It's $20 cheaper per month so I actually spend a little less than somebody who's buying a similar phone (normally $199) and re-upping their contract for 2 years. Also, means I'm not stuck with the limited lineup they have in the stores.

$95 - Unlimited talk/text, 5GB data (contract)

$75 - Unlimited talk/text, 5GB data

Them - $200 phone + ($95 x 24) = $2480

Me - $500 phone + ($75 x 24) = $2300

*$500 is using the HTC One S as an example, may come out cheaper if I go with a Google Nexus phone

:dance2:

You need to change your surroundings and stop associating with broke mofokrs.
:lol::lol:

ANd most people extend their contract and do an upgrade so they don't pay the 500....If they did ,everybody i know has a 500 dollar phone.

If the Galaxy S III will be the same price as a Iphone. That phone will D.O.A! I don't know one person who will cop a $500 phone.

:hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

Now why i go to be Nigga?

If you brothers want to spend $500 on phone.I hope you enjoy it,but why you go and fuck this convo up?

:smh:

:ssshhh:

Cats don't wanna acknowledge this though...Samsung's big Apple nano-fab is down in Austin and Apple saved them. They were near closing down, laying off thousands so they won't turndown Apple, but Apple knows it can win most of these cases because Samsung is using inside information to make their phones.

Apple trying to stop the Galaxy S3 is just making me want it even more!!! ...Might have to make a pre-order call to Verizon tonight.

I have the Evo 4G LTE sitting in front of me right now, the phone is the shit, but sprint is just shit. So i'm taking it back tomorrow. GS3 has same processor, more RAM and has the Iphone lens in it (surprised they not trying to sue for that, unless the lens is originally from Samsung anyway). I will miss the LTEVO, it's definitely the hottest phone I've ever dealt with (plus sprint didn't load any bloatware in it) but Sprint 3G here in South Jamaica Queens is Not a 'Go' (not sure what speed Flossy was talkin bout).
