The left left the left quite a while ago.
Now the real left is the middle and if you don't succumb to any and every outlandish left idea, then you are called a Trump-loving fascist.

More often, I have read the same thing about the so-called right.
The truth is there is no universal middle.

There is most definitely a middle. "universal" is your word of choice, not mine but the internet has exposed more people to much more than they would be exposed to without it, thereby numbing people to a lot that they shouldn't be numb to.
The left and the right both have some absurd ideas among their fringe elements and "progressives" get almost as aggressive as the so-called Trump tradcons when the middle doesn't shift to their way of thinking.
For instance, there is a section of the right that believes that women shouldn't have the right to vote. That's insane and the reasoning behind it is just as insane but they will say that shit with a straight face to you like they just said water is wet.
People who always attempt to blur the lines have an agenda in doing so. Most people have a mix of traditional and liberal views and that is the middle. Some lean more left like being more for social programs that help people in poverty or at a social disadvantage gain some ground and some lean more right like those who want the government to collect less taxes from the working middle class. There is validity on both sides of that.
The fringe shit is what gets sensationalized but both extremes stand firm on their own ridiculous notions and name-call anyone who doesn't agree with them.
The U.S. is a white dominated ethno political system (virtual) that is one party versus Conservative/Progressive. Which means they will infiltrate the other political party that is populist with minorities and dissuade them from voting with candidates like Biden Hillary, Bill, and Obama. Biden picked a person polling at 2% which is Kamala Harris as his running mate, that is an obvious red flag.
Similar to robocalls you get before the election giving you misinformation or telling you will go to jail if you have outstanding warrants. These robocalls are usually targeted in predominately black areas of a city.
1. Poor speaking skills, not charismatic (Kamala Harris or Biden)
2. Have a background that includes supporting mass incarceration or segregationist
3. Lackluster policies on supporting social welfare
This is why you see TYT attacking Democrats trying to get you not to vote so that the white uniparty can win easily.
The left hasn't been the left since Jimmy Carter left. Clinton tried but was shut down.
Notice how he keeps stopping to say it's not just the donors, but the voters.
Notice also that he references no specific poll.
AOC is on point. The legal challenges alone would DEFINITELY throw the election process into the courts.
Look at what the scotus JUST did.
Listen to what he says. I would wager he knows next to nothing about polling.
Yet he keeps invoking "the polling, the polling".
This is what happens when young educated white folks take over. They don't know jack shit,
think they know every goddamned thing, and are given license to proceed because they are white.
This is what is essentially behind the effort to remove Biden. Rich, young white liberals (who are liberal

- NORC claims they recruit pool of survey takers using mail via usps (means they are blind to a huge swath of younger voters - which might explain the reason why pollsters were so wrong for the 2018 & 2022 midterms and 2020 general)
Can you provide an example of a political poll that meets your standard of a 10-15K respondent sample?

1k people is a shitty sample size for a population of tens of millions.
HOW they polled determines WHO they polled.
Random selection is necessary (not that it matter with such a dismal sample size), and soliciting
responses via U.S. mail is NOT random, as those of us who are poor are far likely to be transient.
They are essentially polling those most likely to respond in kind with their political positions and assumptions.

What is your experience with polling? What backward assed school of economics, business,
or education taught you that a sample size of 1000 is all that is needed to generalize to a population
of several million?

My sources are graduate level classes in multivariate analysis, among
other social science oriented statistical methodologies, leading to my second degree combined with a few years actually writing surveys.
