Anyone use Straighttalk as their cell phone service provider?

Yup I do. Think about 2 years now. Its cool better than what I was getting from sprint. I pay about $33 a month for it for 1000 mins and 1000 text. When I was with sprint I was paying $5 more for 500 mins. Sprint phone just stopped working(couldn't make calls) they didn't try to fix it told me to get a new phone. Week later sprint phone started working again. Fuck that straight talk ever since.

Only issue which is like all other companies when talking to customer support man can be a big headache. Had a small issue that turned into 3 months. I suggest if you ever do have a problem ask for a supervisor from jump if the rep doesn't seem like they know what they doing they real nice though give them that.

Started using it in March after my Sprint contract ran out. Ordered a special sim card off ebay to keep using my iphone 4s with Straight Talk. So far, I'm lovin' it.

yes

you simply buy the sim card from their website

Have you done it? Which company do I buy the iphone 5s from? Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, or T-MOBILE?

I spoke to a lady at Straighttalk that said I had to buy the phone from Straighttalk but I don't think she knows what she is talking about because at first she said the iphone couldn't be used with Straighttalk service.

get an unlocked phone for the tmobile or att network

then buy a sim card from smart talk website for att or tmobile

you have the option of which network you want to use

the att sim cards sell out quick and/or they take them down after awhile

getting that att network for that price is a steal

and yes that lady has no clue what she is talking about

hell they have ads all over the internet to bring your own phone and get 4glte

I don't want to use AT&T or T-Mobile's network because it doesn't work at my grandmothers house down south. Only Verizon's network works at her house.
When I go to http://www.straighttalk.com/ and type in her zip code I get choices of phones to buy for use in her area. The iphone 4, 4s, and 5 are the choices for the iphone. I really want a Samsung Galaxy s4 but it's not available for sale for her area on http://www.straighttalk.com/ . I can deal with an iphone but I'd prefer the iphone 5s.
I'm wondering if I get a non-contract Verizon iphone 5s will it work like the phone 4, 4s, and 5 will.
I'm assuming the phone http://www.straighttalk.com/ sells is a Verizon compatible iphone because that's the only service that works at my grandmothers house down south.

What I'm trying to say is that I'm sure I need a phone that runs on Verizons network. How can I make that happen? And can I bring a Samsung Galaxy s4?

They just lowered their iphone prices! I might jump on it.

But I read that straighttalk users go to the back of the line service wise when using their phones because they use other companies networks.

But that's a risk I'm willing to take especially since people are saying that they don't have any problems with them. I don't use the phone much anyway. :dunno:

My wife been using h20go for my iPhone 4s for a yr and it's good. 30 bucks a month unlimited talk and text...? $40 a month for Web. It's unlocked though.. Set towers I belive...

Sent from my GS4...

Just dropped Sprint for Straight talk. Shit is night and day. Bought the At&t sim card from them and dropped it in a Nexus 5, ported my number and not looking back.

Current 4G LTE speeds. Wasn't getting anything close to this on Sprint

Straight talk is the real deal. Compared the speed test(that's what matters) to my h20, and was ten times faster. Don't get h20, straight talk stream videos no prob, h20 can't . 45 a month perfect service

This is the case when I visit family in Georgia; so I use a Page Plus phone when I go there.
