Anyone investing heavily this year??

How much money did you lose/gain this past week?

  • Total voters
    30
  • Poll closed .
Kyndryl ($KD) earnings miss. I've been eyeing this one for a position.

Hyperscaler Revenue

  • For Q1 FY 2026 (quarter ended June 30, 2025), hyperscaler-related revenue reached $400 million, representing a robust 86% year-over-year increase, up toward the company's $1.8 billion annual target in FY 2026
Trading is down significantly due to the following factors:
  1. Revenue Miss vs. Expectations
    • Total Q1 revenue was $3.74 billion, below the consensus estimate of approximately $3.83–3.87 billion. While flat on a reported basis, it fell 2.6% in constant-currency terms
  2. Soft Revenue Guidance
    • Kyndryl reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 guidance: ~1% constant-currency revenue growth and adjusted EBITDA margin of 18%. However, the midrange revenue guidance of **$3.81 billion** still trails analyst expectations of ~$3.87 billion
  3. Investor Sentiment
    • Despite strong earnings (adjusted EPS $0.37 vs. expectations ~ $0.32–0.36), the market is reacting more to the weak top-line performance than to margin gains. Shares are down roughly 10–13% after hours and into pre-market trading

Starter position limit order at $28. If I miss it, oh well.

GRAB is the UBER/DOORDASH/LYFT of Asia. It’s everywhere from Malaysia to the Philippines. They have a money exchange similar to CashApp and they have the scooters on lock. It’s a $5 stock right now, but in 3-5 years could be at Uber stock level. I’ve bought 100 shares a month since hearing about it. I’m up to 500 shares.

A HYSA would pay out more than this right now
I own 300 shares of SCHD, but I’ve started buying high dividend individual stocks because I want a steady reinvestment into shares. Until DOW recently cut its dividend in half, it was paying .70 per share. CAG is down under $20 and pays .35 a share, and I just bought 300 more shares this week. I also own KHC and it’s paying .43 a share. That said, I feel 100k in an ETF is a safer bet, but a slower return—a young man’s game.

I was planning on waiting until September, but I'm done with AAPL until Tim Cook is gone. Even with their money, a factory in the US is going to be a drain on the books. IMO

Rocket Lab software and staff played a crucial role in planning and executing the burns and landing sequence.

The Q2 numbers are as expected. The pending catalyst is Neutron's intergration and launch. RLKB says they are still targeting a launch by year's end.

For the third quarter of 2025, Rocket Lab expects:

  • Revenue between $145 million and $155 million.
  • GAAP Gross Margins between 35% and 37%.
  • Non-GAAP Gross Margins between 39% and 41%.
  • GAAP Operating Expenses between $104 million and $109 million.
  • Non-GAAP Operating Expenses between $86 million and $91 million.
  • Expected Interest Expense (Income), net $1.3 million.
  • Adjusted EBITDA loss of $21 million and $23 million.
  • Basic Weighted Average Common Shares Outstanding of 528 million, including approximately 46 million of Series A Convertible Participating Preferred Shares.

Bottom line, I have more time to continue building my position.
