Ok my UCO oil stocks are up 1,379% normally I would have sold. Due to the war and the oil crisis do you think oil prices will continue to rise?

They will for the near future.
I sold out of oil to shore up my stupid tech stocks
But if I were in your position I would set stop loss at a price you were comfortable with
At 1000% would also take out my initial investment and let the rest ride

Thank you. I never thought to put a stop limit on my stocks. I do it everyday trading Forex. I had to google how to do it with stocks but it was very simple.

You have to be aware that stop loss can cause you to lose more money.
Especially with everything being so volatile and the markets moving so fast that if your stop loss is triggered, you could sell out just before it runs up again. So you have to make peace that you can sell out at -15% just to watch it run up another 20% again for example

Timing the market is impossible. That percentage is fantastic though.

Also, stop losses do not execute pre-market & after hours.

Rivian's CEO says he believes the auto industry will see semiconductor shortages for the next 12 months (Today at Cera Week)

Is he prepping us for excuses during Thursday's earnings call?

All the EV companies gave lower guidance because of supply chain shortages, so unless Rivian has some new technology that gives them a advantage over everyone else they are getting sold off Thursday.
You knew they were full of it last quarter when they put away $5billion for expansion at its Georgian plant when it should clearly be $30 billion.

Besides, there are only 2 EV companies: Ford and Tesla. The rest of those special whatevers engaging in odd financial behavior.

Anybody know any about USEG? I've been out of the market for a few months, looked at my acct today and I'm up big, wondering if I should sell or hold if it's long term hold. I can't remember....

edit...Vanguard is the top holder, so I'll hold...
