He also made a few boo-boo's in the recent past when talking about options. (1) He totally mixed up calls v puts when giving an example a few months back, and (2) about a week or so ago he was giving folks guidance on ZOM and mentioned buying a put as part of the upcoming strategy... but ZOM doesn't have options yet :smh:

I still like what he does, but those just starting out should def double check their moves against other sources.

I watched his vid too. I like some, some is just meh.
But bruh, how much of that $100k+ is profit?

It is a decent return regardless but he is targeting new investors and since most won't have the money to put in the market to reach that $100k challenge, some of his followers might get a little agitated when they realize how farfetched the goal is.

I see why new investors get a little impatient because building a portfolio to a $100k in one year is not close to easy. Unless you hit a lottery stock or really have the money to bet big. Yes, some of your plays will be betting when you deal with those home runs returns.

I need a experts opinion on this. Jet blue is down this morning after this "Convertible Debt Deal" announcement. I always fly to Barbados with them, so I'm long in the stock, and want to add to my position.

By this logic, the convertible bond allows the issuer to sell common stock indirectly at a price higher than the current price. From the buyer's perspective, the convertible bond is attractive because it offers the opportunity to obtain the potentially large return associated with stocks, but with the safety of a bond.

My question is this. The deal looks like they are raisin money ($650 million) to close out some debt. Why would this cause the stock to tank?

I know they are hurting a lot they are planning to move ops to Florida even after NYC gave them a sweetheart lease deal and I personally know a lot of people were given severances due to "economic outlook". They have a history of managing debt well however

Because people see offering and assume it's bad at first....just look at it as a buying opportunity

He says he makes regular deposits on top of him taking/rolling profits over into new plays. Plus I know he's mentioned "stashing" money in solid plays like Nike stock at times..... if and until other future plays present themselves. (I actually like that strategy). So for the RH portfolio that he shows daily, all that comes into consideration as far as the gains and #'s. Which is fine, but..

...like you said: when dealing with new investors you have to have patience with them, and THEY have to know how they are built financially and have patience in the market. I think he tries his best, but everyone is different with money and not everyone has their finances straight enough (or the mentality) to DCA and realize this takes perseverance. You got so many folks who aren't even good savers but then wonder why they can't build a proper portfolio.

He does kind of toe the line between "hitting home runs" but also preaches "long term investing". You and I can understand it and get in where we fit in. But those newbies who just aren't good with money, habitually, or have NO kind of long view don't wanna here all that when they have a losing ticket.

I think that, overall, his content and mission are awesome for our community. But folks just need to continue their financial education...and try to make the information work for them. Try to understand the "Why and how" and not buy or invest just because..

I like dude somewhat, but he can get u a few chips gaining. He lost me when he has said that many companies balance sheets were great thats when i knew he was on some other type of shit.

Yes I love what he is doing. I think someone on here accuse him.of paper trading lol but I don't think RH have paper trading. He also spoke about taking small bites out the market but ppl still yelling to the moon.

There are multiple pressing issues that are dominating the headlines. Weed isn't #1,2 3 or 4. Once a handle on COVID, vaccines and the economy are reached, people will start talking about weed again. Until then, its understandable to see money moving out of these plays. Even Bitcoin is getting more shine than weed stocks.
