I don't even fuck with Adwords as Google is so finicky when it comes to ads/landing pages/squeeze pages. They'll ban your account so fast for the most minute of reasons and won't tell you what you did to get your account banned.
Back in the day, when you could "test" satellite cards, that was my secondary hustle after my computer store. As H/HU cards where hard to come by, I came up with the idea of purchasing used DirecTV boxes for people who went to cable, in hopes people selling me the box didn't know the value of the cards. I'd say 8 out of 10 of the boxes I purchased for $20-25 had working H and HU cards. Those shits were a goldmine.
After I about bought every box known in my area, I was running out of options. Google Adwords really starts to take off around '02/'03 and I set up some campaigns nationwide. I'd purchase the boxes and even offered to pay the shipping. It cost me $40 to $50 a box and I was selling those cards on Ebay and testing sites at $300+ a pop. I even hired my best friend and taught him how to program cards as I gave him that hustle as the "Satellite Man". I really wasted the money I made. I bought jewelry I didn't wear. I never so much as had a little chain around my neck.
However, I started to get warnings from Google for using a trademarked name and they stopped my campaigns. I wasn't paying attention to the cost per click either. Some keywords, I was paying as high as $5 a click. That will eat into that $300+ card sale real fast.
I partnered up with this white dude out in Idaho to clean up my campaigns (dude knew Adwords in and out), who at times in the previous year helped me out a lot. SF, wherever you are. FUCK YOU w/ a dirty screwdriver. Dude sabotaged my campaigns, got me banned, and started up his own based on my hustle. I haven't fucked w/ Adwords since.
PPC just isn't my forté.
I'd invest in a bot maker, a white woman's manicured hands* and put up a shitload of accounts/videos/proxies on Youtube to where I'm putting up more videos that get flagged than YT can take down. Either that or hookup with a knowledgeable PPD guy and advertise on one of the PPD networks. I mean actually become a publisher. Somebody wants to download a file, they have to fill out your offer you have running on the PPD network. Checkout the FileIce forums for someone with a high post count

Fiverr is where it's at. My brother just had a personal HTML5/CSS3 three page website done for $5 dollars. He just has to upload his pics to a directory on his host and the code is "smart" enough to automatically rotates his pics when new content is added. You better hurry as they are getting ready to up the prices people can ask to do jobs for. I hurried up and snatched ol' dude to do my Drupal 960 grid templates.

Pay per call is the business fam! Yeah CJ changed how you re-activate
Your accounts... You have to speak to an affiliate manager...just create another account fam. You are right, pay per call is kind of new and you damn right about the money! Like I said above I am running a rehab campaign at $146 per call over 2 minutes...in 2 month I gotten 50 calls and that's all from a small AdWords campaign! So if scale up?!! Shit lol!
Of course approval is required for most the networks but it is easy as telling them what they want to hear " I can drive 100k visitors, I'll promote through mobile search' blah blah blah and 9 times out of ten they will approve you. Now the downside even with approval for the pay per call program you have to get approved for each individual campaign (shit sucks when you are first starting)! You should do the same and just say what they want to hear. Check out share-a-sale and get back into CJ they have some decent campaigns that pay over $18 a call. As far as offline it all matters on the rules of the specific campaign...some allow it, some do...most dont care. Offline marketing with pay per call is serious paper. You can get a classified spot in your local newspaper and kill on commissions. The ROI to this shit is crazy fam if you know what you are doing.
What are you talking about....everything is a scam in here!

Sounds pretty exciting and the potential is ridiculous. This is way better than email and zip submits. I never was too crazy about those anyway and the quality of leads should be ten times better for the advertisers.
Time to start the approval process for these networks. CJ used to be real simple and easy to deal with but I guess if the game has changed somewhat and they don't want any okeydoke riff raff spamming links or whatever. That's cool you just have to be serious about your business.
Will definitely be jumping on this. Preciate the feedback fam. Good looking out.

I do most of my work online and I can tell you that most of these people out here selling shit can't make a dime outside of Internet Marketing. Or they engage in taking suckers' shirts on places like Warrior Forum. Fuck a WSO. To me, you aren't shit if you can't make it in the Health/Debt/Dating markets. You just have to figure out a way to make yourself a middleman that controls, at a minimum, .00001% of a multi-billion dollar market(s).
The best stuff to learn from aren't the latest products out here promising everything, but the tried and true ones of 5+ years ago.
Recommended courses that work, are long-term, and aren't dependent on the whims of a search engine when you get established (Google Slaps/Sandbox/Panda/Penguin/etc.).
Pick one and one only and stick with it. Don't try anything else until you can repeat that process and become successful with it in another niche.
Tiny Little Businesses
Adsense Master's Course (Version 4)
The Last Money Report (the one you'll find is a ripoff of the original author, only the names have changed)
The are better courses than the above, but they are found nowhere online. Payment is required and they are not cheap. I'm talking four figures minimum, no hand holding and they don't let everyone in.
You can get all of these courses for free* if you put the course name and blackhat in Google search. From my experience, this will separate those who aren't willing to work hard from those who do.
Whatever niche you choose, set goals and adhere to them. If your niche isn't breaking at least even after three months, don't get discouraged and dump it and move to the next big thing. Just don't put anymore more work into it. Start a new website and ride it out. It might turn profitable right before the domain expires. It happens. Just find another niche and start again with the same method as the first. That means four attempts at generating websites that produce income in one year.
If the niche hits out the gate, devote everything to it and guard it like it's top shelf pussy. I'm talking pussy with Oprah's bank account.

Or if you're really bold, find someone who markets via email, make a product that can tie in with theirs and do whatever is necessary to get your product sent to their email list. Even with a small list of 1000 subscribers at a 1% conversion rate of a product priced @ $50 nets you $500. Now do that with five or ten more list owners.
=====
P.S.
Test. Test. Test. Track. Track. Track. Did I say test and track everything? I don't care if it's something as nondescript as a punctuation mark. Make a record of it and test it.
I once had a product launch with 40,000 unique visitors over the course of one week with not one solitary sale. An extra question mark to the headline was the difference between no money to 64 conversions the next week with a tenth of the first week's traffic.
That was my second successful website selling a 30 page PDF w/ pictures/10 minute interview mp3 of the local African hairshop lady/transcript of mp3 @ $17 for natural haircare for sisters made all in the course of a weekend. I still get at least two or three sales a week from that website and it's almost eight years old.
P.P.S. If you learn or know how to get buckets of traffic, it doesn't matter from where, disregard all that I wrote above. You've just put yourself ahead of 99.99999% of people selling online out there, including me. You don't need a course or a product. With just eyeballs alone, you'll luck yourself into converting whatever you're selling. Even the holy grail of them all, PORN! I know it's hard to believe, but most people actually whip out their credit card for porn even with all of the tube sites and places like BGOL.
Addendum:
I have around 20 websites that generate between 120K to 140K a year. That doesn't mean I have a disposable income of six figures. I pay myself a salary of $45K a year and I don't on average spend no more than $25K a year for bills, hobbies, entertainment and the occasional trip. I don't even own a car and haven't needed one since 2001. Everything I need is less than three blocks away or can be delivered via snail mail. No cable. No landline. No cell phone. No gym membership. Just internet and a SIP provider for my tiny Asterisk box. I grocery shop everyday for my three meals and a snack.
My mindset when it comes to greenbacks is all due to a book I picked up by mistake, Jacob Lund Fisker's book Early Retire Extreme and MrMoneyMoustache's RSS feed.
My next project *crossing fingers* is connecting with Randy Flagg (https://www.youtube.com/user/chamaflauge) based in Shanghai and another brother who shall remain nameless, who is a professor at a Chinese university ("I ain't never coming back to Chitown"), but ships whatever you need back to the US. Randy for the small shit. Professor for big shit that arrives on pallets.

I should have cleaned this up and turn this into a blog post before Google sees it.
I dabbled in Pay Per Call on Commission Junction before. I made some dough but not "quit my 9-5" money. This thread is motivating me to start messing around with it again though.
If anybody is thinking about trying Pay Per Call don't put your own money into it right away. Get your hands on some Adwords vouchers and test the waters first.
How were you promoting, what kind of offer and what was the payout? I have a couple tips that can help you out...first and foremost go after the local markets... Example dont run a broad AdWords, bing etc campaign that targets the whole U.S. try to go for a small to medium sized city where compitition is less fierce...so instead of " low cost plumbing" go "low cost plumbing in Saint Clair"...when someone searches for that keyword your ad will most likely pop up on top depending on your comp...also get a local forwarding number for that local area... People feel better calling a local number then a 800 number....another thing that gets the calls flooding in is citations...I'll speak on that later.

For what reason?
That is 75 hours a week on a computer grading websites...
I'm callin' bullshit as well.![]()
and for whoever asked about landing pages.
unbounce is by far the best landing page tool that i've used. ur gonna pay $50 - $99/ month to build unlimited pages but if u think about it, one client can cover that cost and then u have a free tool to build pages for whatever campaigns u are running. even if u dont use them, their site/blog is a dope resource by itself.
cheaper route? jack a themeforest wordpress landing page and drop some paper on customizing it the way u see fit...
i have a question for any of u that are doing the pay per call stuff. if ur good at driving traffic to a site or getting prospects in a specific niche to pick up the phones... whats stopping u from working with businesses urselves and cutting out the middle man?
if ur shit is tight (website, references, bizcard, folder/flyer, etc...) and u can convince lets say... a doctor/dentist that you can get him even 1 more new patient per week. that might be $2000 - $4000 additional monthly revenue for his biz. u do that 1 time and he's never going to let u go... u can start offering more services as soon as he sees u as a revenue generator... instead of another vendor that costs him money.
I work with Leapforce just enough to keep my account going. It's legit work but can be boring and they are very serious on quality. The pay is good and I can work whenever I want to so I keep it around for now. There is also Lionbridge and appen butler hill.
If you dedicate full time hours to it, it can be considered a full time job for 13.5 an hour.
The rest of my income comes from websites and affiliate marketing. Someone already laid out some techniques and if you add being creative and unique to what others do this can pay off. I've gone to the darkside and do mostly blackhat these days which make me more money than I ever have before, but I do have some whitehat sites for which working with Leapforce provides inside intel.
I was promoting mostly through Craigslist since that's what was getting me the most calls but I used to use Scrapebox to post my number on different blogs and scrape emails. Once I scraped a couple thousand emails I would use a website to send out a mass email blast. My main offers were STD Test Express, Direct TV and another one that offered debt advice. I don't remember what the payout for rest were but STD Test Express offered an $18 payout and that was one of the highest on Commission Junction at the time. You got $18 just for them being on the phone for like 3 mins and double that if they actually schedule an appointment. A bgol member told me about PPC but I really got started through the program Mobile Money Bandit. It told me about targeting specific cities but they never mentioned getting a local forwarding number so thank you for that. Drop some more game if you can. I'm listening.
dude. its real trust. if you didn't have anything else to do and could make 17.50 an hour sitting in your draws in the bed on a computer you could do it too.
and most folks simply break it down into 11 or 12 hour days. most folks can't physically do that every month but there are folks that do.

Yeah you going into a whole nother separate hustle, a completely different animal. It's dough in that if you can get some local small business clients offline and close those deals. It's basically web development. If you have web design skills, SEO skills, social media marketing experience, graphics experience or anything like that you can pretty much charge your own prices or at least market rates.
Lots of competition but like anything else after a learning curve there is money out there to be made. If you have the sales skills you can hire others to do the actual work for your clients and get your cut off top. If you want online clients that's a little different with a slightly different market than offline businesses.
If you are creative there are plenty of ways to get a little paper even if it's just temporary freelance work like Fiverr type gigs. That's a whole different animal too but it's still under the basic umbrella of web development.
I throw garage door repair ppc offers on craigslist with local forwarding numbers and its cool. When you were scrapping emails where you targeting a specific type of people? I also have std express in my bag of offers but only did a couple answers on yahoo answers so I didn't make much but I can see potential in it. Couple more jewels, set up Google alerts to hit you up every time someone ask a question about something that's has to do with an offer you are pushing. Example for std express: "how do I know if I have a std?" Soon as this is put up on the internet anywhere you will get an instant email...go to the site and drop some shit like "what kind of symptoms do you have? Its really important that you get checked out, here is a free hotline you can call and tell them your symptoms, they should tell what's going on (555)/555_55555" shit like that takes 1 minute and after awhile you those shits stack up....as we all know shit on the net never goes away so money will just fall in all the time.
Ironically I was introduced to ppc from mobile money bandit... Shit was to advanced for me at the time so I deleted that shit....please please tell me you still have the videos laying around! I looked everywhere and can't find the shit! Another slow trickle technique is creating dedicated YouTube channels...example...rehab offer? Create a drug addiction channel and steal videos related to the shit....upload maybe 5 videos a day and add related tags like "heroin addiction" etc...add your ppc number in all the descriptions and watch money trickle in....shit even ad ad sense on there cause over time the channel will blow. Fam let me get the mobile bandit bro!
The Google Alerts method was part of MMB so I did that but not the Youtube method. I'm gonna check those blackhat sites and see if I can find a program to do mass uploads. I'll check and see if I have Mobile Money Bandit backed up somewhere but I think I may have deleted it. If I find a link I'll post it. Props for all the game you're dropping in this thread.-
honestly im not even talking about web development but thats a related piece.
i mean most of these people may already have ineffective websites that are getting little to no traffic. they may not be interested in putting more money into the web cuz to them its not worth it...
but if u can make their phones ring, or drive new leads to their biz and have the means to quantify the work u are doing, they will basically trust u to do anything after that.
u help a business owner bring in more business and he/she will see u as savior instead of another person selling some shit. after u have proven urself, then u can talk to them about other ways to strengthen their marketing efforts, like webdesign or more indepth seo, mobile seo... theres a bunch of shit.
what im basically saying is cats are already doing the hard part which is converting traffic into leads/ phonecalls. with that skill, might as well put at least some effort into hunting bigger game. cuz u fuck around and land a few of those and u are pullin in a few grand/ month w/ minimal effort. or u somehow really land a bigdog in a booming industry and u are basically printing money.
Exactly. You're talking about lead generation and how to monetize that. IMO it's all a part of web development whether the client has a website or not. It's all about entrepreneurial creativity and how you decide to package it. I may have misapplied the terminology but the field is wide open when it comes to ways to get your cheddar. Legal ways.
It's all gravy. Get it how you live. There are a ton of ways to get paid. And you're right. The bottom line to any service or product you offer or sell to a small business is to make them money and to be an asset and not another expense. That's also long term thinking for your clients rather than a short term way to make a quick buck for yourself.
You dont need to explain fam, if people never had the hustle mindstate then you can never convince them otherwise. If a job offered to pay me 50/hr and I could work as many hours as I could, I would be a damn fool if I didn't do 12 hours a day every day until I felt I needed a rest! People like that are the ones that get ahead because we will do what others won't just to do what others can't when its all said and done.

If you find mass uploader let me know because I been doing mine by hand which can be a pain but it allows me to craft the channel better to get that laser target audience that I am looking for. Man I hope you can find that shit because now I look back at it...Justin was dropping some in depth jewels and good luck on that link shit, I searched high and low and could not come up with shit,.,,another jewel for local domination....CITATIONS! citations are basically adding your number and business details into the millions of directories on the internet so when some one does a search on say " garage door springs Brooklyn" your ppc number will pop up on top... another jewel is listyourself.com....it puts your business details in the local 411 phone directory(yes people still use 411).
Google places is the lick too but its a bitch to get listed because they want to send a post card to the physical address...I have a work around for this but I'm still testing.

Yeah you beat me to it on that MMB thing. Just did some quick snooping on the buzz and it seems to be largely positive feedback. The biggest complaint seems to be the price.
Boy you dropping gems on this local search stuff. Good way to drill down and target local searches.
this thread really turned into some bullshit. Niggas talking bout how to do this and that and havent made shit off these suggestions.
Finally found a working link. This might be the ONLY working link out of all the blackhat sites. I'm downloading this and backing it up.
