If you are, how successful have you been? I received my stamp after passing the course, but don't have a clue on what I'm to do.

I got it because my company were paying for people who wanted it, and if the company needed one because both of ours retired.

I'm in Texas, so would never use it because my company is on the East Coast, but I'm told there is some money it.

Is there any advice you're able to give for guidance, groups, etc? I would love to make this an additional source of income.

I’m a NY attorney so we can become a notary just for asking. Can also become a real estate broker also. By NY law, we can only charge $2 per notary. However, I’ve seen notaries charge $10.

I’ve seen mobile notaries charge good money. Get in good with a bank, title company, etc. if you want to make $$. Referral money.

I'm looking into becoming Mobile now, once I understand the legalities behind it, because I was reading in one of the courses as a notary you can be sued, so I'm trying to make sure everything is on the up and up with the insurance, etc.

Let's meet up for a drink and discuss...

I have a lot of friends who are clerks in my county government who are notaries. Not sure why people needs them, but they stay busy, especially with walk-ins. Not sure how much they charge but I think it's $5.
