ANYONE ELSE WATCHING WOMEN'S SOCCER WORLD CUP?

That doesn't look like Sue Bird. Unless it's the makeup and camera angle. We've kinda seen Meagan's titty before.

Nobody has looked good so far except Spain and Japan(!).

The US looked like shit. I've never thought they looked good under Andonovski really. I'm still waiting to see his system. All I know is under him their finishing has been terrible. No linkup play to speak of and awful in close spaces. Tries to play in the box against bunkers instead of going wide. Too much reliance on one or two players. I could go on and on.

And another thing, the refereeing has been atrocious. Apparently, FIFA told them to let them play but that means they had to change their styles and unfair calls have resulted as well as plenty of headscratchers when obvious fouls were overlooked.

I know traditionally soccer refs have been pretty bad and unfair but this...

We will c where they are really at on Wednesday when they play the Dutch ...

rematch of the 2019 finals ...

But yeah this team has a lot of holes ... I dont like the coach either ...he been suspect ...

Also leading up the world cup they were playing friendlies against bum teams

n thats gonna come back n bite them in the ass ...

Good thing like u said seems like everybody else playing like shit too ... England should have lost ...

N to b fair Spain n Japan beat bums ... they did what they were supposed to do just like the US did against Vietnam ...

Our group will not b a cake walk .. Portugal is sneaky good ... Dutch barely beat them ...

we take care of business tho we will b good ... one more win will get us thru ...

Jamaica drew against France ... :bravo:

Bro, could see the US not getting out of group play. They could easily lose to Netherlands and Portugal.

The coach...smh. He's going to get shitcanned and about time.

We have no #10 or #9. Morgan is about done. Lost one of the best 10s in the world when Cat went down. We have no #6. The best 6 in the world was Ertz before her break but now she has to play CB. Another problem because Andonovski never developed a defensive strategy and just let Saubraun handle the backline. Now she's out. Ertz and Girma haven't been tested yet but in time they could be rock-solid.
Andonovski never developed another 6 once Ertz left. Horan? No way. She's a two-way mid who holds the ball too long and doesn't make accurate passes. We need a 10 in the worst way because accurate passing takes out 1 or 2 lines of defenders.
Andonovski hasn't figured out that he needs runners and crosses into the box. Lavelle likes to dribble too much. She's great with the ball on her feet but dribbles into traffic too much.
Man, I could keep going but if they don't find a 10 somewhere they are going home early.
Leftback is a deadzone. O'Hara is too slow and the others just meh. Really they should think about converting Williams to leftback in the future because she has the pace to get back and she crosses wonderfully.
My advice right now is to put Rodman at 9 and Williams on the right with Smith on the left and the kid, Pino, and Morgan off the bench.

Welp, Brazil had some beautiful linkup play. Germany looked as you'd expect Germans to look - aggressive, relentless, ruthless and precise.

DeMelo, Lavelle, Horan, Sullivan, Mewis, Ertz. That's the midfield for the US. There is no #10 in there. None. The closest is Ertz and Andonovski put her at CB.
After watching Germany and Brazil's buildup play the US looks like a bunch of amateurs. In the past the US had a big gap in fitness and just ran teams into the ground. They don't have that anymore and this guy hasn't installed any kind of system that I can see.
What are we doing? What are our tactics? He watches all the US players to pick the team and can't find any 10s? He takes Sanchez as another forward instead of a solid 10. I just don't get it.
Do they even practice shooting? They can't even put the ball on frame. I'm telling you, this team is in trouble if they don't figure it out without this guy.

I know Ertz and Lavelle are recovering from injuries and he's trying to ramp them up but he's going to have to trust Cook and Girma and put Ertz back at the 6. Right now she's the only one capable of making 2 or 3 line passes.

It's funny, I'm rooting for them but I also hope they lose so they fire Andonovski. He's been there 4+ years and I see no improvement whatsoever. Yeah, I know COVID etc but that was 2 years ago.

Strap up. It's going to be a bitter pill to watch whoever knocks out the US celebrating.

Pump da breaks on Brazil tho ...they were playing Panama ....lol

But like i said we will c on Wed where we are at when we play the Dutch ...

Portugal is scary too ...

Kerr will likely play against Canada and I don't see Nigeria losing, they'll get at least a tie.

Canadian women started slow but finally woke up and showed their grit with a comeback win against Ireland. Hope they keep improving, the game against Australia is gonna be a big one

England keep squeaking by ... tht shit gonna catch up with them in knockout stage ....

another 1 nill win ...smh

:gun06:

Man that Brazil game gonna b be big .... :scared:

i dont even know what all the tie breakers are but i know nobody has scored against us so ...:puzzled:

n every team in our group has a goal against soooo ....is tht the 1st tie breaker ... ?......
