Not Chinese, just ones saying my car warranty is about to expire (it isnt) and ones saying I can lower my credit card interest. They always have the same area code and first 3 number as my phone.

I had am employee get had for $2k....bitch was beyond stupid. They called, said she owed back taxes(which actually she did). They said they would come arrest her if she didn't pay. She was legit scared, because the phone number ID said a local police precinct. But heres the capper, they wanted her to go get APPLE giftcards and read the numbers off of them! And the broad actually did it! When she came to me, I couldn't help but laugh, I thought she was joking. She went to 3 different walgreens and CVSs and showed me the receipts. I helped her call the IRS fraud department, but it was too late obviously. I looked through her phone, and sure as shit, she had a bunch of random numbers that had been calling her for over a month. She played some voicemails for me, all Indian accents. She was embarrassed, had borrowed money from her momma to go get the gift cards, AND still owed her taxes. I asked her WTF was she thinking, and why would she think the IRS woukd take APPLE cards as tax payments?! She was just scared because of the police ID and arrest threats.
