Anybody did business thru Alibaba?

Ive been peroosing their site...dropped inquiries on some of the vendors and am waiting on word back, then i did some more research...trying to see if anyone has ever actually worked w/ these fools...anyone? bueller?

I did for a while with people from china. I don't anymore because they are busting people around my way for selling nikes and etc. I don't want my name to keep going through customs.

ok, cool...what kind of experience did you have? What kind of shipping quotes were they hitting you with? Did you call them up or deal with them mainly thru the net? How did you pay them, and how timely did your shipping get to you? Finally, how would there be a beef w/ customs? If they asked, couldnt you simply say you didn't know they were fake? How can they prove you knew they were?

I did also for a while with a guy that did Nike's and everything else in China. just make sure you can verify the company is real. I always recomend getting a buing agent to get stuff for you if you are talking about some serious business. If not you should be able to find a local (stateside)reseller depending on what you want to sell.

I used to buy from china to but company I used to deal with has went up on their prices. a buying agent where can I find one? I found some new companys I want to make sure they are legit.
