Anybody BGOL nerds like me follow the International Space Station? It's flying over Cleveland area tonight at 7:50 pm.

Shit. I was sleeping. You just reminded me about this. I think I might look into getting my oldest daughter a telescope(or binoculars) for Christmas. I just put this in my notes so I don't forget this time.

Everybody in this thread, go to this cool NASA link and punch in your zip code and it will let you know when it's visible when it flies by in your area. The International Space Station is the third brightest object in the night sky. It looks like a giant 757 jet going by but the light is much bigger and it goes much faster and instead of 5 miles up, it 267 miles up and traveling at just over 17,000 miles per hour. It really looks more like a very bright planet flying by at an insane rate.

It's going by again tonight at 6:42.
Hopefully the clouds will be
minimal because it was too
cloudy last night.

Looks like it will only be a little
cloudy so should be a good
night for viewing. Gonna be
visible for 6 minutes.
