Why is Lamar Jackson get so much credit for going 3-1, when the games the Ravens won were against teams with losing records. Raiders 3-10, Falcons 4-9 and Bengals 5-8 (haven't won a game since week 8) More than likely Flacco would have won in those games also.

Flacco already had a chance to beat the Bungals but couldn't.....and Lamar Jackson almost beat the Chiefs, clearly he adds a level to the offense to where the defense has to account for him, ain't nobody scared of Joe Flacco slow ass.

What run first and pass second qb has won a super bowl?

it`s health also ....he will not hold up... better than him have tried ....

he gets a full off season to work on his passing game lil bro gonna b a problem....

Jackson can not last the way he is playing. It’s Rg3 all over again.. soon as teams figure him out... he is going to get killed. I really wish the ravens let the man pass more.

Jackson is not RG3 all over again...IMO, passing/receiving wasn't our strongest this season, even with Flacco. You can't deny the front office isn't already aware of the history of the "athletic" QB's playbook. They will need to fill in some gaps to enhance his efficiency. Good season so far, bitches! Go Ravens!!

Do you think next year jackson is going to be the starting quarterback??

Because if they lost he would get the blame.

Fans are generally ignorant and basically focus on one position on most football teams. The QB and after that the head coach. That's all they know. The problem with the Ravens the last 5 years is two-fold. One the O-line. IT hasn't been that good since the last Superbowl season. The loss of KO and the center who retired that season is still being felt. Not to mention Marshall Yanda is often injured or playing hurt as he has entered the twilight of his career and you have a line that has been fair to below average the last 5 seasons despite what some pro football publication has said. The Ravens have had spotty pass protection for years as well as a problem getting off the ball in short yardage situations for years now. This year is worse as the line simply can not run block effective nor can it reliably pass protect. That has not changed with Lamar but because he is a threat to run it has allowed the line to be more effective running the ball. However, pass protection is still shoddy as it has been all season. If Lamar gets hurt and Joe comes back it is safe to assume that running the ball would get difficult once again. On the other hand, if these guys could hold their water pass blocking there are plays that could be made down the field. The other problem over the last 5 years is that the defense has not been able to protect leads in the 4th qtr. The Secondary has been a constant source of problems giving up big plays. Although Dean Pees was able to kind of cover that up with his schemes that only goes so far. You can also talk about the lack of receivers on the on the team. There was/is a lot more problems with this team than Joe Flacco. In fact Flacco more a victim of circumstance than anything else. Something tells me Flacco will land on his feet with a contender in the AFC. I suspect that team will find its way to the playoffs. As for Lamar, he is something special but he is not a Jedi yet. Much too learn he still has. I cringe every time I see him take off. I hope he survives the playoffs. When camp opens next season I don't wanna see anything resembling this cockamamie offense we have now.

He is to an extent. All these bat-out-of-hell QBs are. The problem is they never last long enough to progress(if they can). The great thing about Jackson is he doesn't have RG3's dysfunctional brain. He's learning and is willing to learn. He doesn't think he's something that he's not.

Call me crazy, but if the Ravens get past the Baker Boys next week, they will be in the AFC championship. Jackson hasn't been completely figured out and that defense been a problem for teams since Flacco was holding them back. It's crazy how teams can make magical runs this time of year.

Yes, I’m loving watching Lamar doing his thing, but most of all, I’m loving his winning attitude. He gives the team a confidence that they haven’t had in awhile. He’s got wide receivers throwing blocks, for example because they know they’re probably going to free him up to get the first down. With him, running backs are relevant again. Most of all, I like a D that’s not having to be on the field all the time. And, old dudes T Sizzle and Weddle going out on top is a thing.

last year the bengals knocked the ravens out of the playoffs. This year they’re going to buy them in with a win in Pittsburgh
