Any PC gamers out there?

I'm looking to get a good RPG PC game. I'm a have some time on my hand with the upcoming holidays so I'm looking to get a good game that will keep my interest. Right now, all I got is 2k23 (for PC because of the Mods). Im strictly a sports gamer but I do like RPG especially if its open -world with strategy.

My brother in-law told me about Elden Ring. Based on the reviews I've read, seems like it's pretty good. So I'm kind of debating between that and the Gotham Knights that comes out on the 21st. I was going to try the Marvel Avengers game but it looks like it's just some shooting/fighting game with no strategy or mystery.

Just seeing if anyone on hear has or has played Elden Ring or if there's any other good RPG out there you recommend. Was thinking about Resident Evil too but it's so many of them motherfuckers I wouldn't know which one to chose lol

Haven't played elden ring yet, but there are plenty of great games out there.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider has challenge tombs that take some thinking to complete.

God of War has a fantastic story with very challenging optional bosses.

Cyberpunk 2077 is like GTA with a Blade Runner theme.

Skyrim is over 10 years old and people are still playing it.

Guardians of the galaxy is like playing one of the movies.

A plague's tale requiem comes out next week and it should be good.

Okay preciate it fellas.

I remember Tomb Raider from my Playstation days so I'm familiar with the story and all. Didn't know Guardians of the Galaxy had a game.

I bet on Rocket League on PrizePicks lol

And yea I don't mind the game being hard. Unless it's some bullshit like you having to make an impossible jump type of shit.

I'll see if some of these games are for the low and try em out.

Although it still has a few errors here and there(particularly at the loading screen) World War 3 is okay..holdover until Modern Warfare II drop on the 28th

elden ring is a beautiful game, BUT be prepared to die a lot. A WHOLE lot lol

Meaning that it's hard as fuck like PeerlessMack said?

I don't mind a challenging game. Usually I'm drinking when I play games so I'm focused but not all the way focused.

yes
it is VERY hard
everything is leveled way the fuck up to kill you, while you start at the bottom
almost no dialogue in the game, meaning you have to figure stuff out on your own.
creepy ass music too

Deathloop, Resident Evil Village, Days Gone will keep you busy

I'm hearing that the 3rd person view for Resident Evil Village will be released on Oct 28th?... if so I may wait for that. I don't really like 1st person view games. There is a mod for Resident Evil Village that uses 3rd person though.

Damn lol... now I want to play it just to hear the creepy ass music lol.

I may have to build my gaming skills and patience for a game like this. Since I haven't played a RPG game in YEARS. May need to start off with something I'm familiar with. Seems like you got to get your mind right for a game like Elden Ring

the game has a 'dark vibe' to it, as far as the music goes
kind of like impending danger at any given moment
the open world in that game is huge
check it out if you get the chance

Forgot to mention Far Cry 6. Giancarlo Esposito plays the villain. He's a dictator in a Cuba like country. If you like him as an actor you should definitely check out the game.

Elden Ring is good but can get very hard.

Other titles to consider:
Cyberpunk 2077
Red Dead Redemption II
Witcher 3 (a few years old but still good)
Assassin Creed always have a good game
Stray is light hearted fun

As a cat owner...I got sucked in. Played a for like 2 hours straight, then never touched it again.

It does look cool

Hitman 1, 2 and 3 are good play throughs. So many ways to kill your targets. Stealth, action...whatever you like.
Deus Ex: Human Evolution - just finished that after having it on the HDD for years. Decent stealth, hacking and shooting.
Control is a decent game. Graphics and effects are cool. Get's somewhat repetitive with the combat but still worth a play.
Metro Exodus is good. If you enjoyed Metro 2033 and it's sequel you'll like it.
