I've been seeing pics of people holding up signs saying "you should be here" and claiming to get vacation packages for cheap with multiple perks prepaid. Are these promotions legitimate? Is it all a scam?

I'm not sure. I've seen recent pics of friends of mine on trips holding up these signs and said they went through a travel group. I think there's was World Ventures

My coworker is in it and tried to sign me up. They charge you like 35 a month for the privilege of discounted vacation packages. If you sign up like 4 people you get your 35 waived so there is the pyramid. However the vacations are real, she just came back from the Tour de France.
 
I honestly don't remember cause I wasn't trying to hear her proposal once she said I had to pay 35 a month whether I took a vacation or not. Basically forcing you to sign up at least 4 people. After that they pay you per person. So you can get your 4 and be done andjust use the vacation discounts for yourself, or keep going and get referral money.
 
WorldVentures is the new 5Linx and Prepaid Legal; any time you read the phases "my business partner" or "business opportunity" you should be suspect; in all three "businesses" you see the videos of the dudes at the top and they are all CACs; that in and off itself is a red flag. :smh:

I'm part of the Starwood Vacation Club and the Hilton Grand Vacation Club. They send you chew vacation packages every once in a while. I got a 4 night stay for April of next year lined up for only $299, minus flights. The hotel usually cost $150+ per night.

Yeah, I have a homegirl in that shit, she's always jet-setting. I'm good on the ponzi scheme shit. I thought they would have gone the way of those "wake up now" cats but world ventures seems to be holding on strong
 
I'm apart of a black travel group called Nomadness. Google it. I just got back from Paris, Prague and Barcelona.
 
I didn't really read your post just the headline. This travel group is nothing like a travel club. So my post doesn't really apply.

Some travel clubs are undercover timeshares.

I've gotten my best vacations from buying cheap weeks from folk unfortunate enough to be in a timeshare.
