I get the liquid from a couple of places mostly online. You have to be careful when you get liquid, I only purchase juice made in the USA and always make sure it is food grade.

Alienvapor.com - good prices, off the chart flavors, they even got weed flavors.
Vapeland.org - a little more expensive than the others but hard to find flavors.
Tastyvapor.us - another great place to get quality juice at a decent price.
Halocigs.com - sub-zero is one of my favorite flavors and is close to a Newport, plus the local shop by me stocks they're products.
You can also get custom juice by building your concoction they will make it for you. You WL be able to choose your VG/PG mixture, the higher the VG the thicker and denser your smoke will be. The higher the PG the more of a throat hit, which will feel closer to a cigarette.
Most of the company's are on the west coast and if you are like me and live on the east coast you could be waiting 4 or 5 days for shipping and they usually want you to steep your juice for a week. The alternative to steeping is putting your bottles in a zip lock bag and letting them sit in a cup of hot water until it reaches room temp. I usually do this twice, since the company's I mentioned make all the juices fresh when you get them they can be harsh without the steeping process.
The juice is only as good as the tank you are vaping out of so when you get your battery make sure you get a good tank. Those plastic tanks are garrbage and and will become costly after a while. Innokin makes some nice tanks, the iclear 30 has gotten rave reviews but I myself prefer Kanger tech tanks. The new pro tank 3, pro tank 3 mini, or pro tank 3 evod glass, would be my suggestion. Order yourself a couple packs of coils (5 to a pack), you will be changing your coil about once a week depending on how much you vape. The coils should run you about $7.50 a pack and the tank should be somewhere around $20. Discountvapers.com usually has good prices.
The internet is a wealth of information so check out e-cigarette-forum.com a lot of e-cig manufacturers and e-cig stores post there and you will get honest reviews from everyday people. My wife still smokes Newports, and the smell and smoke almost make me gag. I put down the cigs almost three months ago, and haven't looked back. I use an EVOD tank with eGo batteries. They are easy to fill with juice, which I get from my local head shop. I like the FusionVape fruit flavored juice, but also pick up their Ices, which are smooth. It took about two weeks and some valuable advice from the guys at the head shop to get it right, but I am very pleased to be able to smell real smells and taste food like it should be tasted.
