I’m going talk to the local union up here to get my plumber’s license and just wanted to know what I should expect and look for. I’m trying have some sort of idea before this meeting

Yeah currently I’m an expediter/equipment operator
I’m 46 they really no retirement with that
But getting this plumber’s license will open doors and provide for my family
After my son received his bachelor's degree. I encouraged him to get trade. Thankfully he did and making amazing money working here in Vegas. He also a part of union too.

I don't have experience to share, but good move on that plumbers license. Plumbers are killing it now and will be for the near future. The plumber I work with came out here from Texas 10 years ago, got his license, and started his own business. He now has a huge house with a ranch and horses. Keep at it, good luck, and please keep us updated when you are killing it.

The state that generally pays the highest wages for plumbers is New Jersey, with an annual mean wage of $97,690, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Yes. If you join one, work your way into control of one. Unions do FAR more good than bad, but when they fuck up the individual gets fucked and can be left holding the bag. As with anything what you put in, is what you get in return. If the OP is indeed a skilled worker, it would definitely be in your best interest to join the union. Keep a high quality network or Black professionals and a few of the "others" to know what they fuck dirty dealing shit is going on behind your back.

I gotta agree with that..... unless you got a friend that's a plumber (I do) ..... you get thoroughly prison raped with plumbing and heating repairs... Weltman Plumbing & Heating is good for that.... they're workers come to your house with a tie, buttoned up dress shirt and littie booties on their feet
