Dumb move on his part. I don’t think he has any way to prevent any of the mothers from receiving Child Support afterwards. He would have been better off putting that total into a high interest bearing account and using the interest towards support payments through the county.
Unfortunately, that’s not how the system works. There is a Mathmatical calculation based on incomes and percentage of custody. If the Mother takes him to the Department that deals with Child Support, they will access support at that level. Hopefully, he made the payment through the children’s accounts with the Department rather than wrote a check to the mothers. If not, he might not even get credit for the million.
