Q. Are Air Marshals on every flight?

A. Air Marshals play an important role in protecting passengers from the risk of terrorist activity, aircraft piracy and other crimes. So you might think that there would be an air marshal on every flight. However, this isn't the case. Air marshals can be found on approximately 5% of flights.

:eek2: - all these years, I thought they were on all flights. 5% is essntially useless.

 Wait until you learn about the "effectiveness" of TSA screenings...

OP on that "Hershel Walker, experimenting with the English language" trip

I kinda figured they weren't on flights cause of all of the video's we see of people wilding out in the air but rather at the airports checking, double checking and doing the most unless it's spirit.

They used to be heavy on many flights after 9/11. I've been on quite a few flights where something broke out and as the plane was landing, you'd see someone just get up and cuff a mofo.

Twice on flights, I had Marshall's sitting right next to me and didn't even know. One was when they arrested this dude for going in his bag while the plane was landing.

But now they aren't on flights like B4 and it's a freelance thing for those in fed positions who want to pick up extra money moonlighting.

Was on two flights last year and could of sworn someone would jump up and arrest this woman who was wilding out on the plane but after the plane landed, nothing happened.
