These are Africans probably in the village.

Our people are amazingly similar throughout the diaspora and cooking outside over an open fire with 3 cooking stones and wood picked up from surrounding nature is something common all through Sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, and S. America.

Oh yeah I don't have an issue with it. My dad was from RURAL SC. He dug a BBQ pit in the backyard and put cinder blocks in and made a grill that way...we lived in suburbia lol. And we made a farm back there too, grew our own corn, tomatoes, green beans, etc. I used to pick berries off this tree back there and my mom would make a pie out of it.

But of course most of our cooking was done in the house lol.
