Anime Fans, What's the hottest anime out at the moment? - Suggestions Thread

I didn't see if anybody posted this one already but... the one season I saw was kinda fire. Excellent animation and decent dystopian storyline. Highly recommended

I honestly wasn't paying this much attention until the backstory for Amo(?). I may have forgotten but I don't recall this level of fucked up in an anime since Berserk. What Griffith does to Casca is top 5 worst things to happen in anime. What happens to Amo is probably number 1.

Im going to need to run it back just to make sure I didn't miss anything else that separates this series from the norm.

The whole underlying vibe is dark as fuck too. Amo had Stockholm syndrome that warped the hell out of her perception of reality. Dude when Rudo put hands on her, his deep seated anguish almost caused him to kill her. It's hard WAITING for new episodes to come out. This is a close 2nd to my favorite... jujutsu kaisen

I haven't delved into this anime, but do you think it's more fucked up that whole the Attack on Titan story? Now, that was truly fucked up.

Lost interest in AOT due to the initial gap between seasons, so I couldn't say without you being more specific.

But... im going to go with yes. Im not speaking to the series as a whole. Just what happens with this character. Particularly for something id put in the shonen category which i assume this falls under.

I don't know that id describe it as Stockholm as much as Amo being groomed from a very young age. Maybe i missed something in her initial introduction. The reason i don't know that id say Stockholm is because as soon as outside influence arrives, Amo turns against her capture.
