Android still better than iOS?

How old are the iPhones you rocking bruh? My phone is four years old and still using the latest os. Apple is very good with having older phones be compatible with the latest ios. iOS 15 currently works on the iPhone 6S. Which was released in 2015

Same with the iMacs/MacBooks. You have to go back to 2014 to start to find hardware that won't run Monterey. Main reason I don't mind dropping extra $$$ as I know I will get a good 4-5 years minimum out of the shit.

For real, at the end of the day, I work in tech, and have deal with tech shit most days of the week. My daily driver is an iPhone X, I just need something that gets me to BGOL, iMessage and twitter here and there. Apples ecosystem works for me. It’s nice being able to pick up a text convo from your Mac. Just hopped on home kit too. I can’t knock any android device, if I was in the mood to tinker I’d have one. Might grab a pixel as my work device so I don’t have to deal with email notifications blowing up my shit. But for a phone that does the what most people need and does it well, I’m sticking with iOS

If you use a Mac, an iPhone is the best compliment. Everything I have is Linux/MacOS so android isn't really going to work well for what I do. Plus, I prefer the iOS version of most apps but this shit is like Pepsi or Coke at this point.
Yep, Mac and iPhone play well together and you preferred Cola

Yeah, I understand that shit. I do two ecosystems so I can keep things separate or I'd go crazy. When one device goes off, I know it's business related. I also can run all cameras, security, through one ecosystem.

When I got the Pixel 6, I just copped a nice Chromebook to go with it. Outside the infamous clock problem, that ecosystem works flawlessly. I also have a iphone 13 and a macbook. That ecosystem works flawlessly. With the chromebook, can auto unlock with my phone unlocked. Can't do that simple shit with the mac. That lacking feature is fucking annoying. Maybe they updated it.

Which Chromebook?

I agree with this. I feel myself reaching for my Pixel 6 more than the iphone 13. I'm in both ecosystems because of eggs/baskets and all that shit, but damn if Apple don't just feel like a fucking parent.

Only gripe I have with Android is that fucking clock display 5:51 is:
05
51

Stuck with that with no option to change but 3rd party.
shidddd i want that option in my note 20 but missed out. i'll take it tho

not going to lie

i ain't digging android 12

they keep changing shit ...and burring things you use everyday behind too may menus

I chose apple because of FaceTime, annual operational system updates (on android I don’t think I ever received a full version update before trading in my phone), and the ability to utilize Face ID for log in on multiple apps. This may have changed, but a lot of my apps on android never utilized touch/Face ID. The same versions on apple did. I hated having to enter my password.

Its that simple. I’m fine with not being able to totally customize my phone. I do hate the limitations on multi-tasking. That’s close to a deal breaker for me, but I just usually have my laptop with me.

I also know that iOS is usually three generations behind on cool shit (eg, Picture in Picture). But shit does run smoother on IOS and felt way more secure/privacy (app tracking). I can trade customization for more privacy any day.

I will say this. For all this “sheep” talk, cats do get real defensive when you bring up apple iOS/iPhone.

I'll have to see if they make any major changes to it. I've been pretty happy with the S21 but I also like getting a new phone every year.
Same here Dark. I'm already sold on the S22 Ultra

Yeah I tend to stay away from the Ultra cause I don't like how big it is. I'm a little concerned about the base S22 cause it has a smaller battery than the S21. I may just hold on to my 21 unless the cameras are way better.

I do like taking pics of "friends".

I have big ass Andre the Giant hands so I need the Ultra. The regular ones are disrespectful to me.
