Anderson Silva sets sights on Georges St-Pierre and then possibly Jon Jones

I really don't see GSP taking that fight even with Dana throwing crazy money on it.

If he looks like this winning to Condit, I can only imagine what Silva does to him.

I say Silva v Jones ends up happening and one more title defense.

Damn GSP look like he stuck his head under the tire of moving Escalade.

How do you use "need to take a vacation with my family" as an excuse to not fight after coming back from and 18 month layoff??? :dunno:

Maybe because he was rehabbing that injury that entire time. Give him 2-3 months to enjoy the holidays and then back to training camp.

He wasn't rehabbing the entire time, 24/7. Not saying he shouldn't take time to heal--especially considering Condit turned his head to ground beef--I'm saying "vacation" is no solid excuse to turn down the biggest pay date in MMA history.

Neither Jones or GSP are ready for Silva.
Silva wants to pass tha crown to Jones without interfering in his legacy.

see this is what i mean

you niggas make up shit

I respect [Silva] a lot. As I said several times, I do not want to be the guy who beat Anderson, and do not want to be the guy who lost to him. Anderson is a great champion, I’m a great champion. We both… I don’t know. I don’t know. I’m not saying that the fight will not happen. It can happen. But it’s not something I’m chasing. I don’t believe that I need to fight with Anderson to be the best in the world.”

I swear people only read the headlines and not the actual article that started that whole mess.

You can't honestly say this sounded like a man asking to fight Evans and going back on his word. It's all on Evans, he asked for the fight after these harmless comments bruh. I don't see how a rational thinking person can really say Jones was the one picking a fight here.

I didn't say he picked a fight..I said he claimed they were like brothers and wouldn't fight him, then went back on that

I think Silva is setting up his retirement money. GSP and Jones make the most sense in that case. Gsp first..cuz if he beats Jones there is absoulutely know anticipation for a Gsp fight.

 Retirement money and his legacy. And I do see Silva beating Jones. That arm bar Jones got caught with made me a believer.

I think his legacy is intact if he loses to Jones. But if he loses to GSP it will be tarnished a bit. I m sure he will run through GSP, not so sure about Jones.

Silva just dont give a fuck, you gotta love him,

"When he arrived and stepped behind a podium, he said, "I'm the new Dana White, Dana Black."

man if he fights Jones that will be the most anticipated fight right under pretty boy and the pac...

Yeah that is the fight that casual fans would love to see.

I wonder who the CAC's are gonna support if Jones v Silva happens? IMHO the hate for Jones trumps Silva's.....

It's a win win for them. Whoever loses will instantly be considered a overrated bum in their eyes. They may hate Jones supposed arrogance, but Silva is currently the only other fighter mentioned in the same breath as Fedor for the GOAT status.

No lose!

Its a "NO LOSE" situation for Silva. He will be 38 next year, he only has 2 fights left on his contract. Why not go out with the two biggest multi million dollar contracts of his career? If he loses to Jones, everyone will say "He was too old. He was fighting outside of his weight class. etc......" If he wins, than it just adds to his legacy. Perfect scenario for Silva.

Number one, Dana is not gonna let his only white boy get whoop by yet another nigga, it can kill his business for real.

Number two, jones is about to learn the law of the land, if he goes against silva, this fight will be a different ball game for him. Btw dana will make this fight with the quickness, nothing like getting rid of one of the two niggas in his joint.

Dana is pushing for this Silva/GSP fight more than Silva is. He already slipped up a few times talking hypothetically about Silva/GSP being an actual WW title fight and Silva defending the WW belt (as if to already say GSPs gonna lose). Some of you guys get a little too carried away with the black/white shit.

Nah. Dana is pushing hard for the GSP/Silva fight. He wants Silva/Jones as well. But like I said earlier..the Silva/Gsp fight has to happen first. If Silva beats Jones, no one will want to see him fight GSP.
