Metro is so underrated. Easily one of Eddie's best movies IMHO.

Wesley Snipes Passenger 57...I think he was specifically a security specialist so maybe doesn't qualify here but that was a landmark movie at the time. Black man outsmarting both the White cops And White bad guys.

coming to America was a comedic classic, and yet it was panned by damn near every media outlet. Harlem Nights was the same way, panned by damn near every media outlet, and Eddie Murphy wrote and directed it.
