REENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said six suspects, including a former Greenville Fire training officer, former Greenville Police Officer and former Mauldin Police Officer, have been charged in an alleged child sex ring.
Deputies said an investigation began in January after two victims came forward alleging criminal sexual conduct against them. A third victim was identified in connection to the case.
According to the sheriff’s office, a Specialized Investigations Division executed multiple search warrants at the homes of the six suspects on Tuesday, May 19.
The suspects are all believed to be either friends or acquaintances.
