Hershey Announces It Will Raise Prices By Double Digits
Hershey is announcing it is increasing its prices by double digits. The company says it's not related to tariffs, but to the sky-high cost of cocoa.
Stop buying it at the corner store.. supermarket has the 2 liter for cheaperA 12oz bottle of soda cost $2:78
Stop buying it at the corner store.. supermarket has the 2 liter for cheaper
They be having the 2 for 5 , 2 for 4, and even 2 for 3 sale at the supermarket around my way.. been to stores that have 3 for 5 , 2 for 4 etc and that’s the 2 liters… cornerstores almost get no money from me anymore cause their prices are way more costly than supermarkets and places like costcoWal-Mart and supermarkets have them For the same price. I usually don't buy them but one day I was gonna grab one at lunch, saw the price and said "fuck that". Buying the cases for BBQs is costly too. I haven't bought candy in about 3yrs. Their prices are ridiculous too.
As far as candy depend on certain places to go..dollar trees, 5 below, maybe an Aldi… cornerstores no goWal-Mart and supermarkets have them For the same price. Their prices are ridiculous too. If people stop buying, prices will go down.

I mean what is the same price from 2000 or 2010? I can’t expect a 2 liter to stay $1 forever.. trick is to catch the sales or cut certain things off .. soda, candy, certain snacks ain’t the best for our health in general.. I been on a watermelon kick as of late and eating fruit way better anyway for you… I had damn near cut soda off from my diet several yrs ago and for the most part just consumed water for a few yrs.. it wasn’t until like last yr that I kinda bought back soda into my eating habits and that’s was only cause I was being cheap and making my own icee popsicles at home by using certain sodas during the summer.. outside of that wasn’t really trying to drink that while I was eating a meal, as a thirst quencher or anything else.. prices are definitely going up across the board but somethings you have to know are not gonna stay the same price foreverWow. Them shits use to be $1 lol. I've seen the 2 for $5 for the 12oz but that is still $2:50 each. I've been looking for healthier alternates that makes sense price wise, but there are very few options. This economy is fucked, everything is mimicking the oil industry and their fuckery with gas prices.

I’ve mention on here that various companies definitely have price gauge on products and cause of that don’t support the fuckery.. but there are somethings that were gonna eventually go up overtime.. I’ve talked about utilizing sales, coupons, going to certain stores, etc for yrs on here to get the best price cause I’m a certified Jew.. I have to easily cut things off cause I’m not gonna spend higher prices for things.. reasons why I said cornerstores are pretty much dead to me.. eating out has been pretty much dead for me outside a few connections I have.. hell when potatoe chips started being $2 and up at cornerstores I was done pretty much with chips.. only time I might buy some is when Costco might have a sell on them big ass bags of sun chips and that’s super rare.. I pretty much cook shit at home or have chicks cook for me at times.. been on that smart consumer shit and big companies would hate my mentality.. hell I always scream free.com cause I don’t pay for no streaming sites, ppv, movies, sports , cable, etc been cut the cord like 16+ yrs agoI was exactly they way you were with my diet. I don't have a desk job anymore so I'm constantly at different locations, that's how I started back. Of course no one expects anything to stay the same price, the complaint is how much the prices have risen and the time frame. The prices of goods out pacing wages by this much is concerning. Making excuses/reasoning for why prices are rising this fast doesnt help either. I stopped buying alot of shit because of prices. I haven't bought candy in about 6yrs and a laundry list of other stuff. Oh, spices is another example of insane price hikes.

FYI.
Keep a eye out on your car insurance premiums.
They will be going up between this month and January 2027.
Why?
Cuz majority of replacement auto parts come from outside the USA from countries like Canada and Mexico.
Cars that get into collisions or damaged and need replacement parts. The price of the parts are going up. Insurance companies will pass the increased cost to the consumers by spreading the increase amongst all their customers nationwide.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins on Tuesday said the farming economy is “not in a good place” as those in the agriculture industry lose sales from trade severances with China and other partner nations.
“Right now, the farm economy is not in a good place. We’re working around the clock,” Rollins said during a Tuesday appearance on Fox Business’s “Making Money with Charles Payne.”
“The president has committed to supporting our farmers, and we’ll have an announcement on that very soon, likely next week,” she added.
Rollins said the “Golden Age” was “around the corner” for farmers. China through July bought 51 percent fewer American soybeans compared with the same period last year, according to The New York Times…

President Trump on Wednesday said he planned to use money brought in from tariffs on imports to provide aid to soybean farmers who have been hurt by a trade dispute with China.
“The Soybean Farmers of our Country are being hurt because China is, for ‘negotiating’ reasons only, not buying,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “We’ve made so much money on Tariffs, that we are going to take a small portion of that money, and help our Farmers.”
Farmers of crops like soybeans and corn have had difficulty selling their harvest and have grappled with rising prices for supplies like fertilizer.
The U.S. has in the past been the No. 1 supplier of soybeans to China, but China recently purchased a massive soybean crop from Argentina…
