What's the "message" of the market here? Over the last two weeks corporate insiders have dumped over $2.1 billion in stock vs. $73.1 million in buys. I'm not sure I've ever seen the ratio of insider sells vs. buys this skewed toward officers and directors looking for the exit door. Talk about the captain jumping into the lifeboat and speeding away before the ship sinks....

Given that the trailing, "as reported" price/earnings ratio is now 144, or substantially above the peak p/e ratio on the Nasdaq at the top of the tech bubble, what is the market trying to tell us?

Think about that when you call up your financial advisor or broker and tell him you want get out of the stock market.

While you are preoccupied with 2nd amendment rhetoric, the corporations are bleeding us dry.

So did you inquire about the games on Wall St when you went to your TH?

See, you just prove my points everytime you post. I understand your dislike for the "right" wing (not saying that I support them) but the "GREEN" wing is stealin' all the dough and you are silent or you're tryin to blame it on Reagan, who is dead!

Reagan, who is dead!

Reaganomics lives on!

Thought, seriously, what does Reagonomics have to do with this latest wave of this 'insider' sell-off?

You crunk 2-nite man

This is hilarious.

So I offer this. Given the current economic condition, it is much easier to do insider trading now than it was 30 years ago. We have the internet, an immediate source of current information that allows traders to operate with more confidence in their speculation. Also, we have a post-recession environment that is causing many companies to declare bankruptcy or submit themselves to hostile takeover from either other companies or tax payers. Basically, the internet is creating a market exchange all by itself.

Primerica to be sold to J.C Flowers - fuck I gotta dump my stocks (example)
