Former champion Amir Khan has continued to discuss the possibility of replacing his current trainer Freddie Roach. Khan is considering a training switch after being stopped out in four rounds by heavy underdog Danny Garcia on July 14th in Las Vegas. Afterwards, Khan complained that he was tired of taking part in joint training camps with other fighters Roach was training. Usually, Roach conducts joint camps with Khan and eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao.

Since Khan openly discussed the replacement of Roach, a mob of trainers have approached the British star. One trainer Khan appears to be considering if Emanuel Steward, who trains heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko, middleweight Andy Lee and super middleweight Adonis Stevenson.

"I've had so many trainers approach me in the past week: Steward is the main one who's approached me," Khan told Sky Sports News. "Many trainers have said they can make me into a big, unbeatable fighter. It's all about taking my time on this, it's a big decision to make. I'm still with Freddie at the moment, but in a week's time things might change.

"It's all about seeing who might suit my style, who might help me on my offence, who might help me on my defence. I think I'm one of the best offensive fighters in the world, I just need to work on my defence. I really think to be one of the leading fighters, you need to have both. There are going to be a lot of things I'm going to change, but you will see a new Amir Khan"

They can teach him how to avoid getting hit. Khan has a lot of tools to beast cats. Getting over his weakest is the goal and Roach has no answers.

I agree with you on Roach. He is a tuner not fixer trainer. He fine tunes boxer's skills but doesn't fix their weak spots. I like Khan but he's overly emotional in the ring to a default. He kinda loses he skill set when he gets hit or hurt and just fights which can lead to exciting fights but not necessarily results in wins.
