American Airlines terminals had segregated break rooms for black employees, report says:
A Pennsylvania attorney is asking for an investigation on behalf of 80 black employees of American Airlines who accused the company of racial discrimination, according a report by NBC 10.
The Mildenberg Law Firm of Philadelphia made the allegations on behalf of the employees in a letter dated July 14, sent to United States Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
The employees accused managers in Philadelphia and Washington D.C. of using racial slurs against them, according to the report. They also claimed that terminals had racially segregated break rooms and other areas.
In addition to the racial discrimination, the employees claimed managers made black employees subject to unsafe conditions by allowing newer, safer equipment to be used only by their white coworkers, according to the report.
An American Airlines spokesman denied the discrimination and safety allegations.

I was literally about to buy some tickets when this article popped up. Well American Airlines just lost my business. What are we in the 60s? Segregated break rooms.
