Not to worry man.... they're always going on sale for $1.99/lb or a little cheaper....I buy 1/4 chicken dark meat, leg,thigh,back... for as low as .46 cents a pound to right now $1.26/lb...... they usually hover at .76 cents/lb..... Food Depot and Shoprite in NJ

I still don't like fried dark meat... but I've never been opposed to smoked, grilled or baked. Fried I just prefer wings or breasts.
