Whats good, I know there was a thread about this when Amazon first announced it last year and a few peoples on BGOL said they were gonna sign up. I think DaDon said he was already involved in it.

Well I signed up, sent over all required documentation. Did a webcam interview and then after MONTHS I finally got accepted. So now the last steps are, tomorrow I have a phone interview where I have to call in between 4-5PM. Then this Saturday Im suppose to go for a ride along for what they say should be around 10 hours long and lastly they are paying for my hotel stay for 2 nights and plane travel to Vegas. Once in Vegas, I have to attend the last and final (3) interviews which they say will last no longer than 30 mins each.

So for ANYONE who is involved with this. How much can you make off of 1 delivery truck? I know they are talking big number like 200-300k in profit a year but if I remember correctly, they said that was with a fleet of 30-40 trucks (I cant remember). My thing is, i aint tryin to do all this shit if its something that isn't even worth it. Ill do this lil BS call tomorrow but I really dont wanna do no got damn ride along. The only reason why i would want to do the ride along is to pick the brain of someone who is physically in it. But I dont know if this nicca just a driver to the person who owns the truck/route or the actual person whos involved in the partner program like me.

Crazy shit bruh, I was just talking to one of my sisters who is a manager at a large Amazon Facility in Memphis. We were talking about partnering.

I'm gonna get some more intel on this tomorrow, I've heard of what you're referencing, but she was talking about something specific to Amazon salaried employees.

Have you heard anything about that?

Yeah famo, I think i signed up in July-August of last year. I didn't know I was gonna have to jump through all these got damn hoops so tryin to see if its even profitable

You gotta remember everything is coming out of your pocket.
Truck loans
Medical
Insurance
Truck Maintenance
Paying employees
There is a reason that Amazon is offering the employees 10k to go that route. Now you are a contractor and are responsible for all of the above mentioned

Yeah I was always wondering if my employees would be under their insurance or not. I just want to know how much I can clear a month with one truck (just so I can estimate a fleet)

You are going to be on the road all day making deliveries. Not as cozy as working in a ac warehouse. No 401k match, no paid vacations. Amazon isn't doing this as a favor to anyone.

i don't think 1 truck is good enough we have 24 right now. (but at the same time it depends where you are doing it at) goal was 40 but this was a slow start off. and you get to go to vegas? lol we had to goto seattle. We are in Houston, TX doing it. it's 3 of us that are partners doing it.

don't worry though. as long as you can show the money in the bank with them that's all that matters. they will grill you on the human resource side of the business as far as you setting up employees and everything.

And be careful what you mention, because they are real funny about people just passing out info on this coming out of training and all that.

Good luck, bruh.. I applied to be a driver for them and got the job. But I backed out, didnt wanna do all that driving and running around for $15 bills.. I think they have a big turnover of workers.. Anyway, comeback a tell us how it coming along for ya!!

far as insurance go by whatever the laws are. of course simply don't offer full time positions solves most problems.

This is not the same as working for them. What he's talking about is the delivery program where you get your own trucks and Amazon gives you a territory not as an employee, but as an owner of your own biz, with hiring your own drivers and workforce.

Got damn 30-40 trucks is not a small fleet and only makes 200-300K? That's 30-40 employees not including office personnel. Think if these were semi trucks, that would be a million dollar company. I'm not in the biz, but that sounds crazy to me at least.

I only mentioned 1 truck because I just want to test the waters myself before hiring someone and realizing this ish wont be profitable until I have 20+ trucks managing 20+ employees. I currently make 100k+ plus a year at my job and have multiple side ventures (dropshipping, resell and custom shoes) so again want to see if it's worth it for me

Of course Don can answer it better. But at one point I was looking into it and this other chick I knew was gonna do it in another state.

Don't think you can get one truck. They want you to have a few, as well as a building with a lot to park the vehicles. You also need to allow the distribution truck to make the delivery and then sort and make the routes for your trucks.

Think they assume you'll have like 10 trucks.
I was sent the initial pdf from them when the program started explaining it all.

Delivery mfers be out late ass hell told this lady u need to let a boyfriend or whoever drive around with u its 830pm and dark even tho this the burbs and I walk around late tryna lose weight don't mean u should be out here like that especially going up to ppl doors n shit

DO NOT WORK FOR AMAZON. They treat their sellers like shit and i bet they'll treat you guys like shit too. Wait and see.

I drive trucks and deliver to Amazon at least 5-10 times per wk

Idk about the delivery ppl but The workers at the factories don't seem so unhappy to me

I just read a article about jeffy b and how he treats his workers like shit!! Ive bought a few things thru amazon 5yrs ago, but Im not a fan of what that company is doing these days.. Were going to regret a corporation like amazon in the near future!!

What kinda trucks you got?

How much does Amazon pay per delivery?

Are they any charge backs or fees?

What are the insurance requirements?
