a man can beat a females ass..but if a female straight jump at a dude and claw his fucking eyes and tried to bite him she'd cause a lot of pain and possible damage..i think that's how it is with cats and dogs..a dog will fuck a cat up but on some surprise aggressive shit a cat can cause serious pain to a dog..nobody like painful surprises so it's better to retreat than to get harm
