nope. Its random. Sometimes i will see what you posted, sometimes it allow me to play without opening IG and then other times it will show the icon asking me to open IG in order to play.

You're not the only one. When I post something and find out that it's not showing I write above it, "the link works" to let people know that it's legit and it's not something that's not working anymore

This happens with all of Pete Rock's videos on IG. Every single one

Some folks don't enable the setting that allows you to embed posts on sites. It's like those Youtube videos you can only watch on YouTube.com.

I reached out to an IG account holder regarding a missing Black people account. I asked them to adjust their settings so I can repost their posts on forums where many Black people visit. The account holder didn't understand how to adjust the settings to allow their posts to be embedded on other sites. So I just don't post their links here.

Theres a setting on ig to keep your ig stuff from being reposted to outside websites. Some other pages are set to private.
