* Love this woman!!! Many thought Groove Theory would be the next big group. Funny thing is I remember that one of the criticisms of the group's music is that their "grooves" were so outstanding that they needed a rapper on them (this was the beginning of the death of real R&B and the rise of a rapper on every track/remix) She has had a VERY solid solo career but I think many hoped she would be the next Sade...but she is still a wonderful voice in her own right.

Oh hell yeah man!!! My favorite soul sista. She has some of the smoothest songs I have ever heard. I love this bright and intellectual sista. For Real ranks a one of my favorite songs of all times along with this new joint. That is a funny pic of her and Questlove from the prom.

I know Bryce. My ex was supposed to be the original singer in the group but they had a falling out. Bryce is a rapper. He and my ex were in the group, Mantronix. She sang on the 2 'hits' they had back in the early 90's. But I think it worked out better for him with Amel. Amel was fine as hell too.

"For Real" "All I have" and "Congo" are my favorites from her. I love the whole album but I never make it through because those songs are on repeat.
