McGuyver you can use the polyurethane! Poly does protect against HIV, but in my experience people either love it or hate it.

That lady I mentioned doesn't like the poly either though she is not allergic.

Hmmm...Sounds to me she just likes it au naturale..Which is fine if you been with the person for a good while but not something you'd do with your garden variety bed warmer....
