All star weekend has become a SHIT SHOW!!

These bs games must really impress millennials. The best dunkers don't get in the contest. I think players should be voted into the dunk and 3 point contest. Get rid of the Bull Shit Lebron vs. Durant team. Nobody plays at all! Go back to the player being voted in by fans and the starter by the coaches. Also, tie the game into the regular season in order to get them to really play. They use to at least play the 4th courter, now that doesn't happen. This is part of what happens when you let players have too much say in how things are done. First I stopped watch the game then the dunk contest and finally the 3 point contest. Why isn't Ja Morant in the dunk contest? Why did Lebron never get in it? There's no incentive for players to do anything and none of it keeps my attention.

I watched the Rising Stars game and nobody played defense, until they got close to the last 10 pts...just make the game to 10, then.

I was just telling my girl, that there's no reason to watch the dunk contest tonight. I'll just watch the highlights tomorrow...that shit takes too long.

Ja and Lebron didn’t enter dunk contests because they’re pussies.

The starters are voted in by the fans and the media. The format of having captains pick players and a gun element to the game instead of East vs West. You don’t like it but many fans do.

There’s also no incentive from the NBA now to enter the dunk contest now and there wasn’t one back when you’re talking about either.

The incentive was pride and bragging rights that you’re the best dunker. Popular players now are scared to lose taking a hit to their egos is why some players don’t compete now.

Regarding you being entertained by All-Star weekend. It’s a different time period and interest change, or maybe you’re just getting older and aren’t that interested.

All-Star weekend a huge exciting even to me either. But this isn’t a new thing, it’s been like this for many years.
