All Hell Breaks Loose After Angry Mom Uses Extension Cord on Her Child

Tough situation. I am all for discipline...BUT....you discipline for the child, NOT because you are a mad parent. You discipline to teach a lesson, NOT because he pissed you off. You MUST remove your emotions from the discipline.

This

I went to a school with corporal punishment for a short period of time. The teacher who was calm and kept his emotions in check was the teacher who's hand I shook 20 years later and thanked him for the life lessons.

The teacher who cussed and got all pissed was the one I threatened to fight 20 years later.

I always say: show me the so-called “worst” kids, and 9 times out of 10, they’re the ones who get disciplined, yelled at, and punished the most. You can’t neglect them, leave them unsupervised, and then swoop in only after something goes wrong with a extension cord.

These hoes don't be disciplining. They be angry. Angry at the child, angry at his father, angry at the bs they have to deal with at work.

In that case, it's abuse.

Beating a child with an extension chord is child abuse.
