Man this court record is wild, dude had a continuance on his trial back in September 2024, he relieved one attorney and got another and has filed numerous motions to dismiss the case which has been denied and the judge appears to be forcing him to take a plea since there have been numerous "Mandatory Settlement Conferences" since December 2024

I agree, but if he didn't have his gun, he would've been a dead man. I'm glad he had his permit though but that usually doesn't matter when they can still charge him for murder.

I don't care about getting into a argument because if things get out of hand then best believe I'm gonna defend myself by any means necessary and you always want to get the upper hand against your opps or else you're done.

If witnesses say he had his gun before she went and got hers, then yeah he's done. I'm not seeing anybody or any evidence saying otherwise. So outside of this video, it's only speculation. I'm just going off what we can see from the video.
1. She says she's getting a gun.
2. She gets gun and present it to the shooter.
3. He shoots when he sees gun.
4. She fires back from the ground.
5. He retreats out of camera sight to protect himself, keeps fire towards shooter on the ground.

From this video it's clear to me what happened, but yeah we don't know what the situation was before the video started. I would assume there's more footage than what it shows because doorbell cameras starting recording as soon as someone is in sight. Trial Readiness Conference is scheduled for 10/22

And then the trial is scheduled to finally begin 11/10

You are wasting your time typing this. Its not that cut and dry. Different people make different judgment calls and respond differently.
Also, with millions of guns, its a fantasy to think you can just wish them away.

The prosecution is probably looking at him continuing to shoot after she tossed the gun. However; since the suv was blocking his line of sight he couldn't see that she was unarmed when he delivered the last few shots. He clearly was trying to make sure that he could get into his car safely and leave without being shot at. Which he immediately did when he realized that she was down. DA wasting time and money with this case.

Police would have emptied the clip and said they feared for their lives.
