I watched it after season 2 of Squid Games. And came away feeling they offered a lot that SG didn't. You pretty much know who all the major players are in SG and know what the end game is. Which is survive and get the money. The only real question is if they will be able to bring down the system.
AIB keeps you guessing to whats going on. Plus they action never slows the way it does in SG. I think SG is nice and compact, but one thing I didn't expect from AIB after the first episode. Was how much it made you care about the characters. As good as SG is..I have to give a slight nod to AIB overall.
