The problem with Alex was not that he was playing bad, but that he wasn't playing good enough.
He's just a game manager.
That's all he ever was & that's all he ever will be.
He needs the defense & running game to be clicking on all cylinders, in order to win games.
He's not the Eli Manning type that will CONSISTENTLY put the team on his back & comeback from a huge deficit.
Coach Harbaugh drafted Kaepernick to be the future starting QB.
It was going to happen eventually.
They even structured Alex' contract to where the 9ers could cut him w/ minimal hit against the salary cap.
We bought in all these offensive weapons for Alex & he still was putting up average numbers.
No more excuses this year.
As a 49ers fan, you can clearly see that Kaep does things that Alex simply cannot do.
Kaep is more physically gifted than Alex.
He's better at avoiding sacks, better at moving in the pocket, better at running away from the pass rush.
He's better at using his legs & running for 1st downs.
He has a stronger arm than Alex & is more accurate (especially when throwing deep balls).

Kaepernick can do the same things Alex can do...... plus this is only his 2nd game starting so he has more upside.

Alex would strait fuck up, playing for the Jets, cause if he don't have a grade A defense and a grade A running game, throw in some grade A special teams, he isn't going to do shit for you, but lead the league in three's and outs, with a 80% completion rating.
