Airport/airplane travel tricks & tips

I'm going to be using CLEAR for the first time travelling back on Thanksgiving weekend-- I hope that shit alleviates holiday airport congestion.

One tip I have is that travelling with an empty thermos is nice because you can fill it up at a water fountain and take it on the plane and mix it with a lil kool aide packet. If wondering if one of the restaurants will fill it with hot water, in which case tea bags and sugar packets (and hell, even a lemon) would make for a few cups of nice tea.

I bought a travel pillow a few bucks back and it is well worth it.

Gummies travel well.

I know it's Frontier, but just in case anyone is interested..

Thanks for sharing.

Yea I don't play that shit, at all. If anything, I like to be super early and just chill at the gate with my music pr YouTube and collect my thoughts. Hit the lounge if the terminal has one..

I almost always check a bag too, and learned the hard way that there was a cutoff for that years ago when I was headed to MIA with an ex. She was being mad lax with the airport arrival time, so we ended up missing the check baggage cutoff and had to take an afternoon flight. Missed one day at the beach. Chick was crying at the ticket counter ready to slap the agent

Exactly. Much better to be too early, than running late & stressed / anxious before boarding.

I often find the same with work & arriving at a certain time. I have a routine and leave at a certain time and leave a window of time in case of any issues on the road. Plus we have to arrive early for shift report anyway.

I have a few coworkers who are complete opposites (they do shift work). One would chronically be running late or right on time. The other would casually stroll in 15 mins early. I'd much rather be the latter.
