AI singer Xania Monet signs a record deal.

What I find sus is that most of the A.I. I've listened to has been black people's music. My theory is white folks has always been envious of our music and been trying for years to replicate (look as the Osmands), now they have A.I. to finally hijack our shit. Not cool at all!
Anyone can do it. If you see a gap in what's being offer - take advantage.

Yeh, but to me the younger generation has been groomed for it, first with the auto tune, lip singing and mumble rap rappers getting all the promotion over live bands and real singers. So now that they are older A.I. music doesn't seem that offkiltered to them.

Way back, when Andy Moog came along it was fun and funny but soon enough those synths took human musicians' jobs. And when Jeff Roland (and the japanese guy) came along with the drum machine...welp.

Now, thanks to budget cuts kids have no music in school and don't know what real instruments sound like.

This is just the next (dreadful) step.

Gal told her "You can't sing, though."

I've been telling folks that this AI shit is a bad idea. Singing, performing is one of the ways folks transforming their life for the good. With AI being able to manipulate it is taking jobs away from real people. I hate it.

It's one thing when it's done for fun, but they actually putting this AI shit on the billboard list. I bet you 10 years from now there's not going to be any real singers music on the radio
