Seattle will win the Superbowl, yet most of America would rather see the Steelers win. I'll tell you why, fuck Biggie and Pac, white America has always favored the East Coast over the West Coast. On a subconscious level, most of America still believes that since the East Coast was established first, it will always have dominion over the West Coast This will remain true even after Seattle wins the Superbowl.
 
Maybe some people would love to see the BUS retire with a Super Bowl ring.Besides all it does in Seattle is rain, and people kill themselves.

Rothlesberger was injured and they nearly missed the playoffs - the team had to win 4 straight at the end to make it. Then they had to win 3 road games to get to the superbowl. And they had to overcome some obvious cheating ass calls by the refs. against Indy. All Seattle had to overcome was some rain!

Most people from the Pacific Northwest, including myself, don't want outsiders moving here. So we front like all it does is rain all the time. But better rain than snow. And better rain than intense heat. Moreover, peep the summers here. It doesn't get dark untill almost 10:00 p.m. And when it the night does fall, you don't need to run up your electric or gas bill. Temperatures at night (most of the year) are so mild that all you need to do is close, or open, your window depending.

Moreover, we have both mountains and water/oceans, as opposed to the rest of the country. It's beautiful here: that fact is on the d/l because we don't want a bunch of ignorant crackers/niggas moving here.

Some other reasons are
1) everybody wants BETTIS to get a ring (who dosen't respect this dude)
2) Most people don't like Mike Holmgreen (he comes across as arrogant)
3) Seattle is taking advantage of a really bad NFC year

You really need to take a look @ the US map dawg 'cause I'm in NY and Pittsburgh is 400 miles west of here! At no time has Pittsburgh EVER been considered an east coast team! It has nothing to do with east coast/west coast it's just due to the fact that Pittsburgh is playing superior ball right now! Seattle looked good today but they really should've blown out a Redskin team that had absolutely no "O" even without Alexander. Pittsburgh has owned every team they played against in the playoffs and it's just natural progression that they should (and will!) own the Seahawks too!

they overcame playing in the nfc west, the worst division in football, they had to overcome a 1st rd bye...they had to overcome 2 home playoff games!! boo hoo. Steelers had a much tougher rd having to go to Cincy, Indy, and Denver and win 3 in a row.

1 team has to represent the WEAKER NFC Conference and Seattle is that team.

That's exactly the reason why a lot of people hate New Yorkers. New York is not the east coast. Just because a team, or a state, etc., does not reside in New York does not mean it is not fromt the east coast. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania (granted it's in western Pennsylvania). Still since when is Pennsylvania not considered a part of the east coast?
 
I've been to Seattle many times,I wasn't impressed. Fuck the coffee houses it rains to much for me. As for keeping others out, I would advise all not to waste time going there.

The shit has nothing to do with east coast versus west coast. The Steelers just happen to have the biggest fan following in the nation of any nfl team right now (and have for the past few years). I'm from pgh and niggas around here look at football like a fuckin religion. They were the team of the 70s and that shit just passed down from generation to generation and spread out everywhere.

And the Steelers will win the Bowl. We got the next superstar QB in the league!!!!!!!
 
Sadly, Seattle isn't going to get any respect unless they win. I hope they do, but Pittsburgh is looking tough right now. So are the Hawks. At the very least, whether the Hawks win or lose, they better at least show the Steelers they came to play.

Since none of Pennsylvania touches the Atlantic coast! Maine does, New Hamshire does, Rhode Island does, Conneticut does, Massachusetts does, New York does, New Jersey does, Delaware does, North Carolina does, South Carolina does, Georgia does, Florida does and Virginia does. These are all of the east coast states! West Virginia, which is the state northwest of Virginia, and south of Pennsylvania, does not, so therefore it is not east coast! Saying that Pennsylvania is east coast is like saying Nevada is west coast. While Nevada is west, it is not west coast. Pennsylvania is east but not east coast. :smh: I would only consider California, Oregon and Washington as west coast since they are on the Pacific coast. Alaska is north and Texas is south.

If you remember the team alignments before they went to four divisions Pittsburgh was in the Central Division. They were there for a reason! You can make an arguement about Philadelphia being an east coast team (even though you'd have to go thru New Jersey to get to the beach!), but definitely not Pittsburgh! :smh:

Im from Boston and Ive been a Steelers fan all of my life. This is our year. Like Pnizzy said, Steeler Nation is everywhere. Im not going to have shit to say until Super Bowl week. Let me just say this: Take away the Giants, Eagles and Colts victories, the combined records of the teams that they have beat are 38-76 (including the Cowboys). Seattle have been frauds all year and I dont see any reason why that is going to change. Giants and Cowboys dominated the game in Seattle, Those teams didnt know how to close out games. We do. Shit did you see the Stillers (yes Stillers) fans in Seattle. Priiceless. Time to get Owned Seattle. One for the thumb niggas. Fuck outta here.
