Current and former NHL superstars sell their trophies, big game sticks and jerseys, championship rings, etc all the time. Case in point Jaromir Jagr is worth $50 million and still sold his Art Ross trophy.
If we won these trophies we'd probably build a shrine or wear them around our neck if we could. To the folks who win them all the time it's like an employee of the month award.
