Brasil got more Blacks than the US but many classify as white. This is what that Bajan coon McGuyver was tryna explain in his quote in my sig. Blackness is optional in the Caribbean and South America for melanated people. And there is a stigma to being Black so many opt to be white or rep just their ethnic group.
ADOS made being Black a sense of pride so Blacks around the world always gravitate to our arts and sciences as they dont come from nations and cultures where being Black is cool.
