Gotcha...........There will be no removal of illegal settlements and the peace talks will go nowhere as long as the US allows Israel to continue doing what they are doing..They have to be made to adhere and to seek peace. You can't have peace unless both sides want it and when you have Israel leaderships vowing there will never be a two state solution you don't have that. When you have Israel keeping Palestine economically handicapped and undeveloped you will continue to grow and groom those who will fight. When you use self defense as a means to continue to bomb and cripple their infrastructure you will continue to have those that don't want to talk but what to fight.
And let'snot forget that even after agreement was made in regards to the settlements Israel continued to settle more land and played semantics by saying they weren't new settlements, they were expanding existing. By telling people who have lived there for thousands of years they have no rights while allowing people who have never stepped into the region they have a right to return ?
