actor Heath Ledger is dead WTF???

RIP

I wonder if they will move the movie date for Dark Knight, and I wonder if the Joker character dies in the film.

creepy

Probably not, unless they want to re-edit the stuff so they can dedicate it to him. that would be cool, but they've got all the time in the world, what, six more months?

I was watching the preview to Dark Knight and damn if he didn't play that part the way I'd always envisioned it. Evil, not like the first Batman, who seemed corny. Props to Jack Nicholson, but that character was something else.

He sounded like he was already dead. When I first heard his name, I was like "isn't he a dead rocker"? But something is creepy about him dying during the filming of his last role....the Joker. Wow RIP

In a strange way this could HELP the movie if all his parts are finished. They are probably doing visual effects and editing this thing. But dudes that Ambien shit is no joke... It can fuck you up especially if you mix it with other shit.

I just woke up to a news bulletin and im beyond shocked.A great and talented up and coming actor.I feel so badly for his young daughter and family.Cant believe this.

A very talented youg and up and coming actor. I think he probably nailed the damn role of the joker. He never really took the easy way out with roles...something that I think is a part in the makeup of a great actor. He will be missed...:smh::smh::smh:

Wow, I'm in shock. He was a good up and coming actor. I liked his acting in The Patriot. If he took his own life that's selfish of him to leave a young daughter. :smh:

Damn. He's playing the JOKER in the new Batman movie.

This will leave a cloud hanging over the opening. :smh::smh::smh:

Dont this almost feel like Brandon Lee type shit?

If he's good at it, this movie will have cult status like "The Crow"

Damn, depression is a muthafucka, guess no matter how much money and success, if you are fucked up, you are just fucked up with more options to do bad shit

RIP Heath, I will be there to see ya on Opening Day

Wow, this is a real shocker. R.I.P. Dam shame this happened. I heard Heath did a better job portraying The Joker than Nicholson did back in 1989. He had me sold in the last trailer and I think that role would've opened up a whole new fanbase for him. I doubt Joker will die though. Chris Nolan is trying to have an accurate non-killing Batman and a continuing storyline from film to film. Joker was most likely going to appear in other films past The Dark Knight.

I guess it's true. Money and fame can't buy you true happiness. :(

Wow. Not one comment from Blunt. He/she/it must be taking this news kinda hard. R.I.P. Mr. Brokeback Man :(
I fucked him up by predicting he'd be here. He hates that shit.
He'll be here for sure now though. :smh:

A Knight's Tale is one of my favorite movies of all time. I even shed a tear when the Prince tell him to, "take a knee."

R.I.P. for real...but I am surprised no one posted this quote, if it indeed was an overdose of Sleeping Pills that caused this young man's death

Jan. 22: Actor Heath Ledger is found dead in a New York City apartment. MSNBC.com's Courtney Hazlett and MSNBC's Chris Jansing report.
MSNBC

"...And in what may be his final finished performance, Ledger proved that he wouldn’t be intimidated by taking on a character as iconic as Jack Nicholson’s Joker. Ledger’s version of the Batman villain, glimpsed in early teaser trailers, made it clear that his Joker would be less comical and more depraved and dark.

Curiosity to see Ledger’s final performance will likely further stoke interest in the summer blockbuster. “Dark Knight” director Christopher Nolan said earlier this month that Ledger’s performance as the Joker would be wildly different than Jack Nicholson’s memorable turn in 1989’s “Batman.”

“It was a very great challenge for Heath,” Nolan said. “He’s extremely original, extremely frightening, tremendously edgy. A very young character, a very anarchic presence that taps into a lot of our basic fears and panic.”

Ledger told The New York Times in a November interview that he “stressed out a little too much” during the Dylan film, and had trouble sleeping while portraying the Joker, whom he called a “psychopathic, mass-murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy.”

“Last week I probably slept an average of two hours a night,” Ledger told the newspaper. “I couldn’t stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going.” He said he took two Ambien pills, which only worked for an hour, the paper said."

Yeah it seems like he might have accidentally od'ed on sleeping pills.
That's fucked up too. Dude was on the rise.

And fuck all you silly ass dudes too scared to admit he was a good actor just because he stared (and was nominated to an Oscar) in Brokeback Moutain.

R.I.P couldnt believe this shit when I heard it but its life. I hope he gets great reviews for his joker role.

People hatin on him for the brokeback role the dude got nominated for an oscar for his work, and hey people the whole movie isnt a gay porno they invented the fast forward button for a reason.

R.I.P he was a great actor that did not get to really shine. Love and respect goes out to his kids and family

The Dark Knight is going to bring in huge numbers upon release...his last movie right? yeah batman is gonna win the summer blockbuster battle...sad loss tho never saw brokeback mountain but i heard dude did a good job for what it was...in his other movies he was good also...

i think he was in the process of filming one more movie after batman (which is last full movie appearance)....its called the imaginarium of doctor parnassus...its in production so most likely thats going to be his last movie appearance

ouch, having trouble with pneumonia - took 1 too many sleeping pills. That's all it took :smh: . Well I know what I won't be using if I get sick.

R.I.P

Any-money!! we're gona see the best performance by any actor this year! in the new batman movie..

life can really pull the rug out ya feet when eva the fuck it feels....he will be missed!

I wonder how the Australian fam', film community and fanbase are taking it.

I was checking out some news shows last night on tv ... and they were noting it would indeed be quite the story over there (considering the large timezone difference and all). When the story broke in New York ... it was the overnight period there (so they'd be waking up to the story).

I was watching the preview to Dark Knight and damn if he didn't play that part the way I'd always envisioned it. Evil, not like the first Batman, who seemed corny. Props to Jack Nicholson, but that character was something else.

:yes::hmm: R.I.P. :hmm::yes:

Yall can hate if ya want but I don't get all this fucking media coverage about a dead actor who aint been around nearly as long as some of our more prominent Black actors who would MAYBE get 2 minutes of coverage if they died tragically. This guy is being mourned around the fucking world for playing a fucking homo cowboy, co-starring with Mel Gibson in The Patriot, and as a deranged killer in a movie that hasn't been released yet. He's not even American! He was born in Australia. Yet they comparing this guy with James Dean??? WTF has this guy done to deserve all this fucking praise? Being nominated for an Oscar as a man loving faggot in a movie 99% of you was stomping all over just a handful of months ago? :smh:

RIP

And they're STILL mourning this pasty faced motherfucka a week later! Meanwhile the government trying to sneak THIS SHIT by us and the media was snowing the sheep again while yall was still spilling tears over that Broke Back lame. I ask again...who THE FUCK is heath ledger to rate this kind of coverage?

Funk outa heah
